Morning Wafflers another windy day in Melb - hayfever giving me the pip big time! Donna - hooray the scan was clear! Not too many of Dr Lew's purple pills now - there may be side effects. Tassie glad Tamika is feeling better - its always worry with kids and headaches. Like most mothers think the worst/hope for the best. Trifley hope you are feeling better today - you must be as you got to see the Doc last night -lol Lew your winery crawl sounds like grape grazing weekend in the Yarra Valley - definitely calls for a DD (designated driver) or taxi! Hic Melbourne Show starts today and I have been dropping lots of hints I would like to go and see the cats but just found out the tickets are $22 each for adults - $44 to look at cats and put up with the crowds/kids and noise - I changed my mind. lol. Sandra go for the balloon ride - its amazing - did one over the Yarra Valley a couple of years ago - would do it every week if I could afford it. What will I do now? oh yes some work - wondered why I was here. TTFN jude

good morning Wattlers, yes what a great day but a bit windy in the Gong, have been out gardening already,it's now 10.15am. tassie Sue, hope your daughter is feeling better, sounds like an hormonal migraine at that age, I had my first one when 14 and then not another till I was in my forties. Tony welcome back to the fold lol and with a new hard drive, the mind boggles. Mary, glad the barbie was good, you sound so happy there, good for you. Was watching Sunrise this morning and 2 ladies were on, one of them was talking about what she has done since she was 58, canoeing,treked round Aus, done abseiling, and this year on her 62nd birthday walked the Kakoda trail plus lots more, well i don't know about absailing??? I rather fancy hot air ballooning but don't know if I would have the courage to do it. Trifley How are you feeling today? well I hope. Hope everyone else is having a great day what ever you are doing. see you later cheers sandra in the Gong

I am wandering if their english is as good as I thought and they could not understand what we were after..It was the friends sister who does genealogy so perhaps she is not doing it any more , so we are in the dark,, sorry..I really thought we were on to someone who could help..I might email her again and see if she has had any more luck with her sister..no harm in asking.. Must go and try to acess my emails as I havent been able to it yet,, Kept getting the error message..??? Back later Love Mary xxxx

Morning Wattlers from a fantastically sunny Mudgee. One of Terry's mates from school!! is arriving today, so we're in for a busy time. It's the middle of the Wine Festival here, so there's lots to see and do. On Saturday night we are going to an event called Go Grazing. 10 local wineries and caterers pair up to present matched wines and canapes. Should be interesting. Hope everyone is fit and happy. I'm off to have some brekky. Lew Lew xxx

Good morning from a lovely sun drenched Botany Bay The water is looking like a giant mirror, Rake Boy is out on his tractor makeing the beach all clean, cleaning away the debris from the tide and the footsteps. and 7 giraffe are haveing a holiday in the sky. Earlier morning in our household this morning, as TLR had a trade morning up in Manly to show his face at before he headed for the office in the other direction. I'm going to spend some time this morning, searching the Danish Archives - while my mind is fresh - its a struggle with the dictionary in one hand and mouse in the other. Have a great day all . . . Its Thursday 21st September, 2006 !!! The only one ever !!! luv Laurie

~~~~~~~~ afternoon all, just caught up on the replay of some of the Service for Steve. Been with daughter most of the day on Nanna duty - she is very tired now. Bub is due from Friday onwards. She had hope last night/early morning but the contractions died away. She really doesn't want to go so far over this time (10 days over for the first). Donna, hope your news was good and ((((((HUGS)))))) to Trifley. SusyQ, there is not much I can say (on here anyway) - prayers for the little one. Welcome back Tony and Tassie. Glad you are online and ~~~~~~ to Lara. Glad you made it safely. Going to play word games but, as Lew says, it's only nice in spots outside. ~~~~~~~~~ back later, Vonny PS Jood, can always tell when you have been having a busy time! No-one else plays the games :) pmsl
Afternoon All, back from lunch and it was jolly pleasant. Unfortunately it's still very windy here, so no dip this afternoon. You're right SuzyQ, it's great that we're all back here, although don't leave this thread, as it's still a bit ugly out there! Wow, Tony, that computer is fast. Does it make the coffee? Watch out, you might become obsolete, lol. Off to do some more research Lew Lew xxx
Hi, Thanks for all the support regarding Neville's Gt Grand daughter. For some reason Julie, Neville's daughter didn't want to tell us everything and we are still waiting to find out more details. We know that the child welfare people had asked that she be not allowed to be alone in her birth fathers presence, but we have no idea what has happened since. Apparently Tayler was doing okay and for what I gather, Brendon her step dad is very good having a son of his own the same age. Its terrible, children hurting children. I will let you know more when I do. Gotta go now From a dust covered smiling SuzyQ
Hi wattlers Welcome back our Tony - you have been missed. Glad everything is even better than before. Donna - (((((hugs)))))) Hope everything is OK. Trifley - glad you had a good day yesterday and hope your visit today goes well. Hope you had a whinge about the recovery room treatment - or lack thereof. Good to hear form you Gwenda - you'll have plenty of pickles for the Wattlers when you get home. SuzyQ - congratulations on a wonderful message to the Sunrise team. Well said. I thought the memorial service was absolutely spot on - a real celebration of his life. The most moving parts for me were Steve talking about the death of his mother and of course Bindi's tribute. How wonderful is she?? Someone at door - back later Love Anna
