G'day all . . . yes I am still here . . . story of our life, always work interuptions to what you plan !! Just got off the phone talking to Trifley, and like she said in her email sends her luv to everyone. She loves the flowers, she said when she is feeling a little down she just looks at them and feels good cause she knows we are thinking of her. She was quick off the mark to give Lew & me all the credit (or was it blame) so I put her right that it is a wattler affair and she is most grateful - Jude she said to tell you that they are so lovely, and it means heaps to her. Her account of the reaction to her hair was hilarious! The sense of humour is in fine form. Catch you all later luv Laurie

Ooooerrrr I've been SUCH a good girl :) Morning everyone :) Special~~~~~~~~~ to our Queen XXXXXX Did some washing, tidied the Lounge room, 'rode' 4 kms and started filing personal papers. Don't think I'll get to my FH till this afternoon as I have to clear several years of tax stuff first. My room looks lovely. A BIG desk flanked either side by 2, 4-drawer filing cabinets plus a smaller 2 draw cabinet for my English stuff. Will take a while but I am soooo excited to have a place of my own :) Hubby didn't leave till 10 o'clock so I couldn't really get started sorting papers till he left. (hence all the h..........k! Morning Again. Message just received from the Queen: 'I got home last night to a bewdiful bunch of yellow flowers. I LOVE 'EM. Thank you very much. I feel like s**t this morning so the flowers help take my mind off it. The surgeon put the porta-cath in the right side just below the clavicle. The area is, of course, as sore as hell and uncomfortable. Graeme has gone to get my script for panadiene forte filled so I think I might take a couple of those and spend the day in bed. Can you pass on a feable wave to the rest of the Mad Lot for me please? Tell them the surgeon loved my hair. He even got me to take off my paper theatre hat to show the anaesthetist, scrub nurse etc. They all seemed impressed.....perhaps not just because of the style, but because I'm not going down in a screaming heap. Big hugz and my love to you both Trifley X' I'll phone her tomorrow and report again. Perhaps when we win Lotto tonight we can all fly up to visit her. Lew Lew xxx

Morning All, hey Joodles, I was still up at 4am, lol. Just couldn't sleep, so have only just arisen now (9.30). Mary, the new place sounds wonderful. What with air con, lounge suite, dining room suite, pool, restaurant, boy, if you're not careful, we'll all be moving there. pmsl Could you imagine that, heeeee. Jood, take care of that bp. Terry's mother was on bp tablets for 40 years and she still died, lol (she was 91!) Beautiful day today. Not a cloud in the sky. Currently 15C, but expected to reach a very pleasant 23C. The lawn has started to grow, so it looks like I'll be spending a couple of hours on the mower. How's the fanatic Tassie coming along? Found all your bits and bobs to display. Morning Wattlers. Using Barbs Lap top at the moment. Can i ask a favour please. My main computer crashed last night, and will not let me access the internet or Email. Could you please remove me from your Email contacts at the moment thanks, until i find out what the problem is. Morning Wattlers, very quiet in here this morning. Cloudy and very still in Melb today,sun should come through later. I intend to wash the windows today after yesterdays pathetic effort. Have been up for hours I'll have you all know - been walking, had a leisurely brekky, read the papers, cleaned out my inbox - it was bulging - and now I'm checking in with the Wattlers. Sunny day so far for the carnival parade - rain forecast for later on today so hope it stays away for the parade. Last year the parade had to be cancelled due to very high wind gusts. The wind also wrecked some of the prize winning gardens but at least it's nice and calm today. Julie Cat - Pppppppppppppppp! Why wouldn't you be up you saucy wench. Jood - good luck at the dentist. I've been on high blood pressure tablets for years and I have no side effects whatsoever. What sort are you taking? My BP is always about 130/90 now. Still higher than it usd to be but within acceptable limits. My blood pressure went up when I was pregnant with Katherine and never came down again. Mary - lovely dinner. Glad you had someone to drive you home! How is our Queen today? Hope to hear from you soon Trifles my love. Chris is outside digging a spot for our rain water tank to go. It won't be delivered until the middle of next month but he gets enthusiastic and has to get right in and get it done. We had to get rid of some shrubs etc which is a shame but hopefully we'll be able to keep the rest of the garden alive once we have the tank. I feel guilty being on here when himself is outside digging so best go and add some moral support. Catch you all later XX Anna

Yes Mary, bought one yesterday (paid for by my health benefit fund tee hee) - The first reading was horrific - but I allowed for the fact that I may not have been using it properly. Last night and this morning I got error msg every time, so going up to the chemist shortly to find out what I am doing wrong. It would take me all day to get to your place Mary lol - thanks for the offer tho. Jood
