Afternoon Wattlers, I hate it when I have a day away. There is so much to catch up on and then, when I get to the end I can't remember what has been said, so sorry if I miss anything out. Yesterday we went for neville an hearing test, his old hearing aid is no good anymore, it will be about a month before the new one is ready, so he can't hear me cussing at him. Whilst he was having the test I took the dog for a long walk along the broadwater at Southport, managed to get back to the car before the rains came. Then wnet to Officeworks. Love the store. Came out with a bag full of bits and peices as usual and some music software for Neville. Then I went to but new shoes and the old feet were so sore and swollen I thought it wasn't such a good idea. Must see the doc as I feel as if I am retaining a bit of fluid. Donna, get thyself to the doc before the holiday. Do as you are told. Laurie I loved the photos especially Fluffy's new bike, that could come in handy, and Lews new car, great colour red. Am I the only one not looking forward to Christmas this year. Sorry its not the best time of the year for me, but I am happy to join in every one else's celebrations. No convicts in my tree either but I did find a name on the oldbaileyonline that could be an ancestor and he was an highway man and was given the death penalty. Lara good for you losing some weight, how did you do it, excersice I bet. Tassie, good look with the move on thursday. Yvette, could you slow down you are making me tired. Lew, did you have a good day at the therapists. ( shoes, bags bling ). Maybe got a nice wedding dress with red shawl, and ofcourse sneakers. LOL Neville thought it was a joke also. It's sounds like we have a few secret eaters, now why didn't I think of the laundry. Sorry, phone ringing, bye for now Luv SuzyQ |

I second that about huge drawers for plastic doodads in kitchen, I actually have big saucepan drawers too, they're great - also a tall thin space next to stove to put all trays in - we designed our kitchen 15 yrs ago and I wouldn't change a thing, it's the best part of the house I reckon. Hi everyone, how are you all today? I am about to go and dig a liver into a bucket of sand, soil and compost, all the better to plant a passionfruit vine. OH said too yucky a job for him lol. Orange tree went in yesterday, he did that one. Convicts- I'd love to have a convict ! Oh well, DD15 will have to marry to get one I think LOL. Bit early to think about that yet. Has anyone had to look up medical practitioners in UK in mid1800's? Also undergraduates at Oxford or Cambridge, are there any sites which would list students at the time ( I have one 1870's)? Just thought I'd ask, my googling has been unsuccessful so far. Lara, good on you for getting the zipper up so easily! Nice feeling that, keep moving!! OK Gotta go ~~~~~ to all, Hz |

Good afternoon Wattlers Thank goodness were all back. I was suffering awful withdrawals, but the time I got approval for other place it was time to go home, and no puta until yesterday - briefly, but didn't have time to get on here. Have some photos of the reno rescue - ie cottage and a couple of pics of WA trip (no there aren't any of me as Ken only took ones that showed me above the waist lol and not much scenery if you get my drift - his mind was obviously not on the task at hand) if anyone is interested and wants a look let me know. Hi Mel - nice to meet you. Welcome to the mad house. Laurie pleased you got home safely - one can never have too many shoes or handbags lol. Lew got your pics of Lily great colour never looks dirty until you wash it then you realise it was! Full up with hayfever today - not a good look with tissue shoved up one's nose while trying to type, drips got to me! I got a convict - gg grandfather sent to Tassie from Essex - 2nd offence - not bragging or anything- lol. Other lot were mostly with the railways. Its quiet on today where is everyone? delving into the past? Got a present last week - errorsafe virus - hasn't been particularly pleasant and very annoying to get rid of. I'll pop in later jude 3 |

I only have one corner cuppboard, all the rest are drawers. Even have drawer dish washer....do you think i am obsessed with drawers? lol. Love drawers love drawers he he. |

Afternoon all Donna, I second what Laurie said, do it now...........And your boys are no different to other kids. Mine are around the 30 mark and still bicker when they get together which isn't very often. Thank heavens !! Wonderful drying day today, although there are a couple of showers still hanging about. Lew, will the burple pills fix my sinus ??? If they do, can I have a truckload please. Mary, my gt gt gt gt gt grandparents were convicts from Norfold Island who were transferred to Tas very early in the 1800s. Their gt granddaughter then went on to marry the son of another set of convicts sent to Tas. Just keeping it in the family. lol Laurie, I see you might be spending lots of time at the state archives this week. Pity they don't open at 7 am. Jude 2, did you have to remind us how close Christmas is. Although I don't really mind, as my DD will be home from America for Chrissy. Yippee !!!! You still running around like a headless chicken, Yvette ? Where do you get your energy from ? Anyway, gotta go and have brunch. Have to help our local genealogist take a computer class this afternoon. Yea.........me (who knows nothing abouts putas). She'll probably have to teach me as we go lol Pam |

Good morning Wattlers . . . how are we all this morning ??? Just three giraffes holding their heads high over Botany Bay, on a lovely sunny day though there are a few fluffy white clouds about. I have heaps to do but think I will be spending a fair bit of time out of the aptmnt this week - big notice in the lift from people upstairs saying - Sorry for noise, but we are doing up our bathroom & kitchen. . . . - drill started at 7am - now they have a jackhammer going feels like it is in my living room but gather they are ripping up tiles !! Going to end up with a headache if I stay indoors long today. Even the music isn't working !!! Glad your getting in touch with Dr, Donna - but why wait until tomorrow ???? Do it today !!! Are you by any chance doing an ostritch ????? DONT DO IT !!!! Try this for size . . . What would you want your mum to do ???? What would you want your kids to do ??? DO IT NOW !!!!! (Sorry for yelling, but sometimes someone has to !!) Thanks for the supply of pills Lew Lew . . . think I might need some with the noise . . . lol Enjoy your retail therapy! - Suprise! suprise! yesterday while Ray was 'working' in Kempsey I found a shoe sale . . . 2 pairs later teehee (well I did just leave my runners up home to save carrying them to & fro so that pair dont count do they . . the second pair were just a bonus for being patient) 'I gotta get out of this place . . . if it's the last thing I ever do . . . . I gotta get out of this place . . . . . got to find me somewhere without the noise . . . .' cheers luv Laurie (in ear muffs) |
