~~~~Hi Joodles...it's almost as cold here as it is on the Mountains. Hi Flakey Jude...what a clever idea! I wonder if I bought my neighbour a vacuum cleaner if she'd come and clean my house? TX |
Evening all, Anna, thats what I'm complaining about - too much bling and glitter and biiiiiiiig pics and little sentences after their names - I hate it - so am back to my permanent home with the Wattlers. Mel - That is also the sort of thing I would do, hide somewhere and eat something naughty. .. Of course I don't have to do that now - I just eat it. Brrrrrr. Still cold here in the mountains, but hooray - sunshine from tomorrow for the next few days. .. I need warming up. .. Just a little, not toooo hot. I see you girls are all pill popping again. .. Hm, watch it - you dont know just what's in them thar pills. Have a great evening - Im sure I will be back tonight! Jood |
Evening Wattlers, well I had a productive day. All work done and I managed to finally get to spotlight for the new curtains.And you will be proud of me 20% off. Now I have to wait for my friend nextdoor to do the side seams for me and I can put them up. I'm allergic to sewing so I bought a machine and my neighbour who was a dressmaker keeps it at her place and does all my sewing for me...lol Mel I know what you mean about noone following you to the laundry, I used to do the same thing when the kids were younger ~~~~~~to everyone ,better get some food happening,catch you later Flakey. |
Did I mention that instead of starting the dinner I was in the laundry ( no-one ever comes in there after me) eating a King Island Dairy Chocolate Cre`me Desert. To those who have not tried one before there are so yummy you will end up hiding while eating it to, so you don't have to share LOL |
Hi all I am getting a migraine from looking at all the bling and piccies and stuff at the weekender - I feel more at home here. Thoughts to you Tony and to your girls. Donna - get to a doctor. You can't be putting up with all that. Trifley - hang in there honey - it will get better soon. Lew Lew - I need a tranquiliser - what do you suggest? Have been in charge of 25 five year olds today and it was a wet day so we couldn't get out and let off steam! I feel as if I have been run over by a steam roller! How did I do it every day for 20 years???? Go on - tell me I was younger then! Hi Tassie - hope you are back on line soon. Good luck with the settling in. I'm off to have a wine while I wait for Lew's prescription to arrive. Pop in later Love Anna |
Hi All, Hi Trifley, I am new to this site but by reading some of the recent posts it sound like you are not well, I hope you are feeling much better soon. I am sorry if it was mentioned in an earlier post by I am flat out with keeping up with your ladies daily events that I have not had time yet to read the previous ones. Hi Tony, My thoughts are also with you and your girls at this time also. Ohh and one more thing are those purple heart shaped pills OK to give to the children lol and will it make them sleep. If so can I have some too, but I think the vodka might be out of the question !! Had best go and make dinner and get the kids to do there homework ( have only asked 8 times now and it's still not started) Better get me some of those pills too I think pleeeese Mel |
Arvo Wattlers. Glorious day in Mulbin, and the same expected till Thursday so the forecasters tell us. Today has a double meaning for me. The 11th of the 9th. The Twin tower disaster, and the birthday of my first wife, Carolyn. So a mixed day for feelings for me and my children. Lara. Iv'e put me Pies scarf in the wash, as it has tears of blood spilled down it ( mixed with V.B Tablet ).... and i now haffta jump on the Demons band wagon, for Barb. GO DEE'S...:>))) Trifley. Lots of hugs for you mate. Lew. Quiet happy to go along with what you reckon bout the Lotto mate. Best wishes to all, and hope everyone had a great day. Tony Oz....:>))) |
Donna, because I hardly ever take medication a little bit goes a long way with me and it is also cumulative in my system. When I broke my ankle a few years ago, casualty wanted to give me something strong for the pain but I said just one panadol thanks!! They raised their eyes but I know that two panadol put me to sleep!! maybe one tablet is enough for you :) But do ask your dr about side effects - if you don't want to ask him what about asking your chemist??? Got to go shopping :) ~~~~~~~~~ Vonny |
Grumpy old thing I am .. pmsl Even the word games are hard to follow because there is so much writing in the msg. But this is home, and it feels comfortable. Forgot who I was supposed to help and why - I think it was Vonny - so sing out and let me know. Jood |
HI All you lovely mob..Had a lovely lunch with our friend and just now got a phone call from NZ to say that our cousins who are due to arrive on friday for a 2 week holiday had to cancel as the hubby is in hospital and in need of a pacemaker so he has been flown to Wellington hospital for it to be inserted. Good job it happened over there as it would have cost a fortune if it had happened here.. I hope they get well soon and can have their holiday.. Donna Hope you are feeling a little better. Sounds funny, I would get back to the quack and see if he can tell you what is causing it..I take PANAMAX for pain and it is only paracetomol but it seems to work wonders for pain and is a lot cheaper than Panadol. Box of 100 or it may be 50 but it is only around 5 bucks a box.. I dont use anything else for pain or headaches and when I go to NZ I have to take a box for the kiwis as they think it is good also. OH uses it when his legs pain to much and they help him.. Trifle Hope you are feeling better, take it easy for a few days and rest..I think I would go easy on the martoonies tonight.. Have doubles tomorrow to make up for it...LOL Lara Did you see that my team won...by 1 point..better than losing by 1 point..LOL Sorry about your team....really....he.he. Had a lovely email from Ann HR She will be back in 8 weeks. Weather is yuk again today but I think it is supposed to improve soon.. Laurie and TLR hope you have a safe trip.. Back later Love Mary xxxxx |
Hi Wattlers, Its like musical chairs, moving from one site to the other. Trifley, just you go and lie down, think of any little nasties being zapped. And take a few of Lews purple pills. Thinking of you. Donna, hope you are feeling better soon, think a trip to the specialist might be a good idea. Mel, think I must be the only one who hasn't welcomed you. Welcome. I am very dull and sensible. Also very quiet. Talking of quiet, whats happening. Where is all the old banter. I do miss it. Lets take the chance, we can only get banned, and my sub is up soon anyway. I will be away tomorrow, Neville is going for an hearing test in the morning, then to the shops we go. I think new shoes are on the menu. Hope the move is going well Tassie, do you like the new house now you have got it clean. Did the other peeps own it or rent it. Didn't sound the most hygenic people around. Yuk Does any one need an invite to the weekender site, just incase Well I have things to do, Bye for now, I will look in a bit later Luv SuzyQ |
