No Mary - another 25 more mins to go roughly - but the results wont be in for 10 mins after that, so check back here and you'll find out if you are rich or not. Lyn - I sleep on a Q size bed and so close to the edge - it's a wonder I havent fallen out. Don't ask me why - I try to move over to the middle but when I turn over - I'm on the edge again. The night I got home,. I turned the lecky blanket on - and 2 hrs later jumped into bed - the b******y thing was ~c~o~l~d .. brrrrrr. .. I forgot I had turned it off at the wall :(( Be back after Lotto Jood

Jood - OH is away until 21st October, he left here on 20th Aug, so I have another 5 weeks on my own. Not that I am complaining, I love being able to sleep diagonally across the bed and have 3 doonas on the bed if I so desire! Lyn

Oooops - nearly had a heart attack - checked the clock - oh ............ only 7:34pm - had forgotten its LOTTO NIGHT ... woo hoo. Lyn how long is Mick away for - I mean - how much time has he left ? We met on 12 August I think and he was leaving about 2 days later?? Had a chat to Shaz today - I feel a mini mini meet coming on around Mulgoa way. .... Next week. .. 'Nuff said. I've been busy putting everyone's birthday in month order - just waiting on a few strays to give me their birthday - namely Wilson & Flutters - also Mel????? It would be interesting to put the birthdays in year order, but I'm not going there :( I guess some people are watching footy finals tonight - I have it on (mute) - not barracking for anyone in particular. Time to put the lecky blanket on Jood

Evening to all you Wattlers and of course Hi to Mel - the newbie, welcome to the loveliest thread on GR. Mel where are you from?? Jood - thanks for typing up the list of who everyone is, even I wasn't fully aware of all the names. Gwenda - which hostel are you staying at in NY?? Anyway you and dtr have a wonderful trip and don't forget to take empty suitcases and spend lots of money.... So Tony, how do you feel being the only male looking after all us girls on the Wattle thread? My, looking through the list, you sure do have one big harem. Spent morning shopping with daughter, she bought clothes, I bought storage racks for the pantry. Got them home and they're the wrong size anyway! Why do things look as if they will definitely fit when you're in the shop and then once you get home things just aren't the size you imagined them to be. OK all, off to enjoy having the house to myself again. Catch you later. Lyn

I'm baaack. Did the civic duty and saved myself a fine. I am really annoyed with all the Pollies and don't think any of them are much good. I should stand....wouldn't that shake them up a bit....lol? I had coffee with Mark and then wandered around the shops for about an hour. Now I'm home and too pooped to pucker....even if Denzel Washington walked past....:-) I think it's time for a little nap. Afternoon Wattlers, Finished work for 3 and a bit weeks - oooohhhh it's all getting a bit close. Was telling girls at work today about Wattie coming with me - got raised eyebrows - told them we're all sane here - don't think I'm believed by my boss tho - pmsl Welcome to Mel ~~~~ I so wanted to go to the Countdown concert and had originally planned holiday so we'd go to Melbourne concert but then OH wasn't interested so it didn't happen for me - the Long Way To The Top concert was great and I know the Countdown one would have been. Yes - pity they only get to do one song each but otherwise you'd still be there - well I could have stayed for hours at the LWTTT one Jude2 enjoy the concert for me as well will you - have to hope it comes out on DVD later - bought the book the other day and have the CD on layby at mo. Lara - we will get you skinny for Cassie's wedding - last lot of scones for you my girl. Jood - hope your test results are good. Good luck with the cooking - you're making me hungry thinking about it Trifley - hope things are going okay with you - must be if your off for some retail therapy Again thanks to my wonderful cyber friends for all your good wishes for my trip - checked out the hostel we are staying at in NY and they have internet access - if I remember that is why we booked that one - bit more exxy but also central so hopefully I will be able to let you all know that we've arrived safely in the Big Apple. One load of washing finished, better get the last lot in - then it's time for more ironing - will ring my Mum first tho. Might get a chance to pop back later but if not I'll talk to y'all from the States or Canada ~~~~~waving to all~~~~~ luv Gwenda xx

Hi Mel, We've all had this problem - trying to reply to previous posts and forgetting what was said. Personally, I use Google Scratch Pad - it is available through Google desktop and it appears as a seperate little note pad on the left side of your main screen. You can type a message on it whilst scrolling down the messages on the Wattle thread. When you've finished your reply, you copy and paste onto the Wattle thread. I think some of the others use something different - I'm sure they will tell you. Looking after Connor - son's partner's son - so he is the nearest thing I have to a grandchild. He has been just perfect. Isn't it always the way - kids are horrible for their parents but can be absolute angels for anyone else. He's helping Pop in the garden - clearing a space for our rain water tank. Have to get rid of some shrubs etc which is heart breaking, but if we have rain water, we may be able to keep the rest of the garden alive when we hit Level 5 water restrictions at the end of this month - after the Carnival of Flowers. I hope we are able to keep this site - it feels safe and cosy in here. There is still a lot of aggro around so I'm worried that GR will just scrap the general board altogether. Fingers crossed for our Wattle Lotto tonight! Love Anna

~~~~~ Waves to Everyone ~~~~~~ I would like to write waves and put all your names down but eeeww I can't remember them all with out re-reading them again.Sorry I will get it soon. I wish you could see the replies when you are adding yours. Does that make sense. lol Just got daughter home from Ballet and now off to Jazz in a minute. Ooohh I went to Countdown last Friday night in Sydney, the girls and I had a great night, the only prob was that most of the bands only sung one song. James Reyne has not changed at all but wow Renee Gayer looks like she has led a life full of fun !!! Better go Cya Mel
Afternoon Wattlers, isn't it nice to be home?? ~~~~~to Mel, Bit chilly in Melb but the sun is trying to pop through the dark clouds. Spring must be here as my ducks are back. Every spring and again in Feb we have a pair of ducks that spend about 8 weeks in our pool. They have been using the same nest for about 6 years and usually have 10 or12 babies. Once the ducklings have been swimming for 4 days they herd them up and march them down to the creek....its so cute to watch. The parents are quite tame they will come to about a foot from me for food. Fluffy you made me laugh reading the posts, I loved the way you say dont let the bed bugs bite when everyone is already itching from talking about nits...lol Jood the secret to brusketta is to use a good quality olive oil. Have a good day everyone ,Im off to the shops then tonight we have tickets to 'Countdown' That could be an experience...lol Flakey
Lew. That's my kinda bed mate......:>)))) Pop up footy....lol Dont know about the bed being wired though......but...as long as i dont spill me B.V tablet in bed and electrocute meself it may be something i could handle. Perhaps a major win in Lotto to-night might temp me to purchase one of these beds. Yvette. Yes, Judith was very kind and sent me a Photo of.... 'THEE'..... bed, but i am afraid that i will haffta decline on her offer on the grounds that it may descriminate. ( Plus) Barb also offered to oil and polish said bed posts,( Daily ) with a twinkle in her eye.Never seen a woman so interested in a bed??????? When we first met, she had a Queen size water bed.....but when i started wearing Flippers and snorkel to bed she got the feeling that i didnt like them. Dont know why she thought that...:>))) Joodle me mate. I got rid of Error safe with Ad-Aware SE personal, and aint had no probs so far. Tony Oz...:>)))
Hi Wattlers, I decided that despite the rain, today is great. I am still in jamas. Have had extended breakfast, morning tea and brunch, yakking, watching music videos and reading the papers. I will wash up , I will get dressed - sometime. Tony, if you are looking for a bed, jude has a nice one available. Your home is gorgeous Laurie. Looks like it would be hard to go anywhere else. oo common rellies. i have a hot match, 143 and she's not related to me. after my last dummy spit (remember) she did actually remove my ex husbands family, step family and my brothers kids ( idn't even put them on) but has them published elsewhere. Next hot match 101 - similar story. I only have a couple of hundred or so in my tree! gggg rrrrrrrrrraaahhhhhhhhhhh Next peep 53, we are cousins. Possum is making a move and going out - he must be sick of my yakking.. Hi Mel catch you all later, love Yvette x
Hi Joodles....I'm not thinking straight. I mean't to answer you about the Bruschetta. My nephew, David, has a great recipe he got from an Italian mate. I'll ask him for it and send you a copy. I know he uses crusty bread, garlic, olive oil, grape tomatoes, red onion and ?? parsley. Not sure of it exactly....only know it is a meal in a mouthfull and heavenly! Hugs TX
Hi Lily Hi Lily Hi Lew, cold and wet here too - thanks Mary, but I think we will be able to generate our own rain this weekend :( Mary I meant to ask you - how did the aquarobics go? .. Its good fun isn't it? .. Did you have it in your pool where you live? No results yet Lew, only had it done this morning. .. Was good to get home and have some brekky tho. This errorsafe thingy has caused me no end of grief - I have got some instructions from the states - currently scanning from a new program - its found 55 infected objects so far (and it wont ask me to pay to get rid of them either)... Do please be careful what you download peeps. .. Not all is what it appears to be. I take it then that no-one has ever made Bruschetti. .. I'm going to have a go at it on Monday for a committee meeting .. they will either like it or hate it. .. If they like it, I will make some at Mudgee. Off to do some more work (real work, I mean, like changing sheets on the bed) Jood Hi Hi
