I have never seen anybody take the Mick on this thread. Every one of us has the silliest thoughts you can think of,that is what stress and depression are about.

In the past I have had a phase where I was afraid to get in the bath and to walk round the balcony to the reference library because they could fall down when I was on them. My ex thought all Scotsmen were out to kill him for a while.

Must admit I have felt patronized by a couple of men on other threads and have thrashed them but I don't really understand cyber-bullying. They are only messages but I suppose I am not vulnerable at the moment.

Does anybody know how Whitenancy got on about her mother? Now that was proper bullying!

Claire, thank you for clearing up that mystery. of course you have not offended anyone, we were just confused as there is always a race for the oooth post and Gail made the 5000, then she hadn't Lol!!!

Please do come on here for support. Congratulations on your pregnancy although i appreciate your worry. i do hope all goes well for you this time. I assume there are no tests they can do pre birth for autism. But you have one child without autism as well so hopefully this one will be fine too. I am sure somebody can advise about your drugs and pregnancy as well.

I am glad you have beaten the depression, yes there were a few nasty spats but they didn't touch us on here so you can feel relatively safe.

please keep chatting to us.

Claire, No one was offended. I was concerned that someone needed to talk or needed us to listen and maybe me for one did not. I was worried.

Congratulations on the new addition on the way. How exciting for you. Now you must post to let us know you are okay and we can share your joy with this new little life. We are here if you need us or you are welcome to PM.

Love and hug

hi
carole, it has always taken me at least a week to recover from jet lag. The important thing is to force yourself to stick to a normal routine - normal times of going to bed and getting up and no sleeping during the day. it will go eventually, the penalty you pay for a lovely holiday I'm afraid.

Still unsure which Claire you think it is. Only know Ice baby who is Claire, and Claire in Wales (MadMoo I think), not either of those is it?

Oh well, we have to hope they have deleted posts because they no longer need us. Keep going for the 5000 again.

Carole, I believe it takes about a week to get used to the difference in time zones. And your second cousin also has some of your features. There is no mistaking family. I think it is wonderful that you were able to meet. I am lucky as know all of my cousins, seconds thirds and some fourths. OH does not know many of his as they are mostly still in England, mainly Yorkshire.

I do not get the car much to get out and it took a bit of organisation just to get it for doctors appointment. OH is not happy as was called in for overtime which he had to decline because of me wanting the car.

I cannot wait for my scooter. That way I should be able to get around more.

Gail you are doing well to stand up for yourself.
Have you had any more trips out?

Gale my second cousin in America looks very much like my mum. Their fathers are very similar looking, I felt like I was with my grandfather again!

Wish I could get over this tiredness, going back to same place as yesterday for work, hope I don't have to stop the car again! xx

Hi Sharron, OH has had Xrays and has 2 abscess and a tooth broken off from the bridge, one of his own teeth. I do know what you mean though as I had a tooth that I kept saying was too long, ignored of course and cracked the crown and so forth with extensive work and money. It ended up abscessed and had to be cut out anyway, by that time the tooth next to it had also become infected and cut out at the same time.

Carole, what lovely photos. There are very strong genes in your family as you can pick that you are related. It was just like being on the trip with you and really enjoyed seeing these.

Has anyone news of Deanna, and any news on our y/caz. Think of you and hope you are both on the mend.

Love and hugs to everyone, getting ready to see the doc.

Gail

Edited. Well wouldn't you know it, was just walking out the door to go to doctors appointment, they rang and cancelled. Can only do blood tests of a morning in the next town and doctor is going away for a few weeks so basically bugger off. Not happy and told them so as had the appointment booked since last week. On the plus side I stood up for my self for a change.

Just saw a mention of tooth abcess.Just a thought.

About a year ago I had a tooth abcess, dreadful pain, three courses of anti-biotics,nerves taken out.
The pain returned as badly.

It turned out to be that a piece of tooth was somehow standing proud of the rest of the tooth, maybe a new filling had moved it,I don't know.

Well, this piece of tooth was being knocked every time I closed my mouth which isn't often.Anyway this managed to bruise all the tendons and cause dreadful pain of the intensity of an abcess.

The dentist did a bite test and drilled off the offending lump and it never hurt again. Not until he had done the expensive work first of course!

Just thought it was worth bearing in mind.

It has turned really cold up here in scotland I even took pity on next door's cat and let him in today .My lovely boy went over nose to nose to say hello and bossy boots from next door spat at him !!!!

Well I am booked into register office tomorrow so must go sort out my papers .

Ann I do not think they are deleted when someone leaves. Squirrel/Gill's are still here and she has left us.

I know I deleted some early posts as someone on GR sent me a PM and said some sad things. If it happened now I would tell them to get lost.

I just wish I knew who has deleted. I hope they are okay, and that is my main worry.

Gillie, abcesses are horrible, the pain is terrific. I pity your poor OH.

Gail, any idea who deleted? Sad that isn't it? it may be somebody who has left GR, the posts would then delete. i have been back to mid Oct and only found two deleted.

Hi Gillie, our OH's have the same problem with tooth abscesses. Unfortunately my OH's involves his bridge which is 4 teeth involved. The cost is appalling to fix his mouth. Wish I was a dentist.

Hope everyone is feeling better today.

Morning everyone, A nice frosty bright morning here today, Love and hugs to all that need them today.

I hope you all have a really good day, I am off out today, not sure how I will cope but I am meeting my cousin who found me through GR, she is in her late 70s, we meet up every 3 months or so, she travels down from London by train, we spend the day in town and then return home here for dinner which hubby cooks and then we drive her home, but he has been unwell for a week so she will be going home by train, I am a bothered by this as I'd never let my mum go by train alone, but my cousin regularly uses the trains and loves London, so I am hoping she will be ok.
My hubby has an abscess under a tooth, he is on anti biotics but it's taking its time working, he has had raging tooth ache since last week, the tooth is due to be pulled out in 3 days time. Its a little better this morning.

Love Gillie XXX
