Thanks Anne, today gareth is walking normally so it's beyond me what is happening. he was thoroughly examined at the hospital and they found no evidence of neuro damage, which was reassuring to a point, why these other symptoms are happening. he is to be sent to a new class out of town, in Niagara Falls, actually, at the end of March to try and further manage his behaviours. Total of 6 children, he can stay for up to 3 years. If his behaviours continue to escalate, I fear it will not be a school he is sent to in 3 years time.

Mary, I hope that Gareth's problem is able to be alleviated and that the ehad banging is not the cause of it. It does sound worrying though. The aggression too needs a solution for you as, as he gets older you will find it harder to control him, and the school will probably refuse to take him. I wonder why he is suddenly more aggressive. Is he still responding to the dog> And Sarah too?

Sick of snow, raining today and supposedly for the next few days, but my pot of daffs are blooming in the kitchen.
Not much time at present for lurking or posting on GR, a few issues have caused more upheaval, 5 out of 7 have had stomach flu, Gareth is currently at the hospital being checked out as he has developed the awful habit of frequent head-banging, and today he chose a concrete wall at school, ran into it at top speed, he's increasingly aggressive with his schoolmates and family, but frighteningly is now having trouble walking, dragging his one leg, and holding onto furniture to progress across the room, so they fear all the head bangs have caused a new issue. I am scared.

Time to run again, the girls are off to Guide camp for the w/e and I am the driver!!.

Interesting experience for him Kathy. Are the Polish people English speaking or will he have to take an interpreter? We have polish people next door but one, one can speak a little English, the other can't.

I have had cold /bad chest for 2 weeks now and can't shift it .

Will try to give you a laugh .Son has been signed up to be an enumerator for the census .Yesterday he had to go to his first training day and was given his patch .He nearly passed out when he looked at his map and found the prison on it !!! He was later told that a supervisor would do it much to his relief .

His area is nick named little Poland so he better brush up on his Polish !!!

He had been gone for hours and I began to wonder where he was .Then a pathetic voice phoned to say can you pick me up .When I got there I found him struggling with 2 big boxes and complaining about having sore feet !!!!! They will be a lot worse when he is actually doing the job !!!

I can see me and car being involved !

I like watching embarrassing bodies. Some times have to cover my eyes though. I watched one this morning that I had recorded, makes me feel lucky not to suffer like some of those poor people.

Going to Florida, staying in Manchester tomorrow night, fly Monday morning. Daughter and boyfriend coming to look after Coco and the house.

There are so many places I would like to visit in Britain as well as abroad, will never have the money or the energy so tv is the next best thing!

I want to get to Oxfordshire and have a look at some places my ancestors came from. There was a bit on Countryfile recently about old motoring books and they showed a little bit of Great Tew where my Gt. Grandmother was born, said it was the quintessential English village or words to that effect. She was the woman who married my Stone Mason Gt. Grandfather and I have a mug with her father's name on and date of birth and Deddington written on it. Deddington is not far from Gt Tew and I think Mary Ann married Gt. Grandfather in Deddington church.
I also have a similar mug with my other Great Grandfathers details on so maybe they were gifts given to them both at one time. I am so pleased my Dad got them from his Mum's for me, altho I didn't appreciate them so much at the time.

Yes. I have also been on this forum for nearly 7 years. This mod may be a bit envious of others successes.

There is a really fast lift that goes from the ground to the top floor and back in about 15 seconds. I think it is a new Jackson lift. Jackson being the maker.

It is in Southwark not far from Tower Bridge. The tower block is 34 storeys high.

I posted on another genealogy forum about nans 1933 baptism. It was a kind of success story but one mod moved it to quarantine saying there is no relevance to it. I have never experienced that on that forum before. He probably was on a power trip like a lot of mods go on when they have a small bit of power.

Hi Ann yes I took a few pics. A lot of students were up there as there is a dentist college on the top floors and even a hotel room and restaurant. I was allowed a sneak peek round the restaurant as well. Guys Tower is the tallest hospital building in the world and I can say I have been in it.

Ben, I didn'y know that about the top of Guys. Did you have a camera with you?

My van is repaired yet again, thank goodness for VISA!!!!!
The washing up and laundry are done, thank goodness for Megan !!
The ice is melting outside. Thank goodness for a bit of sunshine.
We won't discuss the shingles that flew off the house overnight, nor the trampoline which the wind destroyed, nor the the frame for the cover over the childrens 'ball pit'. I can actually feel grateful for the wind which is also blowing away the signs of winter and giving me back safe walking outside. How I love to be outside, and today a light jacket is all that's needed, two days ago it was so cold that boots, hat, scarf, mitts and hat were required.

Just had a call to say that Rosie's ashes are ready for pick up. Hopefully the little wood urn will help my son come to terms with her death. He has had the hardest time of all of us, he and Rosie had such a strong bond, she seemd to know when he was coming home as she would wait by the door on those days.

Apparently I am starting to emerge from my winter depression, and it's not even St. David's Day yet!! Poor chap is always missed here, they are already advertising St Patricks events, ignoring my St David completely. Never mind, I WILL have daffs on March 1st., even if they have to come from a shop.
Sending some sunshine over the pond, it's not much, but should cheer someone.

Found the muster rolls William Musgrave was discharged in 1785 at Stirling, Scotland. He joined before 1772 when the rolls began and was a sergeant during the regiments time in America. Yay confirmed it now. He was in America.

In 1803 he had to appear at Darlington for something about his discharge. Maybe he was discharged from pay etc?? That is the record I looked up.

In London I went to the top of Guys Hospital tower on the 30th floor and got some breathtaking views of London. There is a small observation gallery there and that floor is used by students for dentistry studies. The public can also access the observation room.

The thing is Joyce, I think EU nationals, which you are can live in Europe and I wonder if it needs clarifying that you are an EU National. They may come up with a reason but at least you will have asked.
