Find Living Relatives

Hi,
This is a very long shot, but I am trying to get in touch with a Grace Hislop, I haven't heard from her in a long time, but I think she has passed away. I have tried looking on S/P Website but getting nowhere. The last communication was in 2020, I am sure she lived on the West Coast, she had a daughter named Jane, she married, don't have her married name, also Grace had a son, I think it was Thomas, she also had Grand Children, Elliot, Ruby and Thomas.

Is Hislop her married name?

Do you know if she had a middle name?

What was her maiden surname?

Only one Grace Hislop has died in Scotland since 2020 - with the middle name Brownlie. Aged 88, and died in Stirling - not the west coast.

Are you sure of the spelling?

An 81-year-old named Grace Emma Hyslop died in 2021 in Hamilton, south-east of Glasgow.

Roughly how old are the grandchildren?

Are they the children of the son who may or may not be called Thomas?

Would they have been born in Scotland?


*IF* they are Thomas's and born in Scotland -

a Ruby Hislop was born in 2017 (Dumbarton); and a Ruby Hyslop in 2009 in Inverclyde reg district.

An Eliot Hislop was born 2013 in Paisley - and he's the only Hislop child with Eliot as a first name, though there are a couple with middle name Elliot.
