This is more of a Living Relatives request than a Military one.

Did Alfred have a middle name? Edit if this is his birth reg, then no middle name

Births Jun 1914
TAYLOR Alfred Nicholson Pontefract 9c 331

What was his wife's maiden name and when/where did they marry?

With that information we should be able to find the names of his legitimate children and possibly trace them through to more recent times.
Would you be willing to post their names here please? Year and place of birth would be especially useful, but don't give the exact dob even if you know it

Have you used the Search All Member Trees to see if anyone has them listed?

I am trying to trace family of the above named. In 1936 he was in Palestine, aged 22, was injured and returned to the UK. He was born in 1914 in West Yorkshire, possibly in the Pontefract/Castleford/Glasshoughton area.

I am aware that he had two children in the 1940s and was still in the army in some capacity in 1943.

I am helping a friend with her family history and Alfred Taylor is an uncle of hers.
