21 consonants and five vowels in the English alphabet.

I'm confused - the relative I'm trying to sort out is living with his wife and father in law in the 1891 census - but his father in law's surname is not the same as the wife's maiden name.

Hi liz and Jackie
Nice to see you both back. Been on the the phone for an hour to my mum's sister. She's the only remaining aunt /uncle I have and she's so much like mam in looks and ways. People who knew both mam and my aunt used to mistake me for being my aunt's child. I remember mam being sarcastic one day to a friend of hers when we were out together holding hands and the friend asked 'Where's you're little one today then ?'
Mam said ' Who do you think this one is then ?'
Aunt is 89 in Feb, physically and mentally very good. Sensible , down to earth but not interfering, independent as she can be. She has 2 dau that live very close and they taxi her wherever she needs/wants to go.
In the 1950/60,s mam and her sister( and our dads of course) used to go on hols with all us kids, and later in the 60,s I used to stay with my aunt for a week or so during school holidays---- they had an outdoor swimming pool in Abergavenny !! ,,,lol.
Very exotic , as our river was 200ft down at the bottom of a beautiful tree covered ravine and it was icy col , even at the height of summer
As cousins we've always stayed close, half of the phone call was with my aunt's son who at 60 has heart and diabetes probs, thro his own doing , so he had a bit of a lecture from me. He didn't take any offence.
I expect the page has moved on since I typed this....lol
Never mind , give you something to read whilst posing a question or guessing.
Right, submit this and find out where we are !,,,lol
Just opened another screen and you're on a different clue, hope this doesn't put you off.

Wow your brain isn't that bad tonight right first guess well done

Maybe it wasn't his child could it have been his step daughter
or like one of my Ancestors they never married and the child kept the mothers name. My great Grandmother was like that and it put me right off track until I found it in Parish records

Edit
They did eventually marry but was a few years later so it put me back on track with the name at least

Hubby made his own dinner tonight too. I was going to make it for him and do him Steak and Chips but there was Potato and Coleslaw Salad left from Yesterday and I had made a Quiche last week and froze it so he got that out and had that. I just had a sandwich I had a lovely large lunch out with my sister today which was nice.
