Hi girls
Son and wife got home reasonably early so we decided to come home after all. I sleep better in my own bed lol. I have had 3 nights great sleep since I got my new Topper.
Had a lovely time with the Grandchildren they both fell asleep on the rug lol. Had to carry them both to bed.
Hows everyone today and has anyone heard from Shimms?

Another lady, Linda, put up a thread about her mum dying yesterday.. Ooh you hear so many deaths at this time of yr. My mum died 18yrs ago today ..))

It must be a sad day for you too.
I lost a brother on Feb 3rd when he was only 3 months old. (Many Years ago in England of Course) I also lost my other Brother Tony on Feb 14th 3 years ago. Seems it happens just before or just after Christmas.

Off course you should come on. You need people to distract you from today's proceedings.
I used to teach English to a group of Muslim ladies and I learned a lot about their customs. So different to ours.

Edit: sorry, went off again.... The husbands were all lovely and very keen for their wives to learn English and make friends. Some of the ladies hadn't even been allowed to go to school when they lived in Pakistan so it was very difficult for them to adjust.
One of the families lost their 15 year old son last year, in an accident, and I remember his whole class wanted to go to the funeral but of course couldn't. But those schoolmates lined the street where the family lived and stood there for hours, to pay their respects to the family.

Sandy I have just tried to Google it but wherever I try it says Malware Warning does anyone know what that means?

Can someone try and Google something and see if it says the same
