Hi all
You lot been busy this morning, I had 6 pages to 'scan 'thro, after going out shopping. lol.Hope everyone as well as can be expected.
Half of GB ground to a halt cos of snow, we usually get a heck of a lot more than the east have had, but don't think I'll let son go to Uni this pm, cos it's already minus 4 and he has to travel 40 miles for just 2 lectures.
We only have 2 ins of snow, but it is the ice underneath that makes it so treacherous, and other peoples driving!!
Spent most of my time on PC yesterday actually doing my tree, and printing out info for my cousin who has now taken an interest but not joined GR yet.
She is the cousin who's husband has Guillian Barrie Syndrome, he' is improving but only very slowly, they have bought a wheelchair,as they have a very active social life and wanted to maintain that as much a possible. She's 75 more than 20 yrs older than me, I'm the baby of the cousins.
See the question is about food ,lol Haven't eaten myself yet !
Let's see how far you've moved on since I've been typing at my snail pace !

Edit ..Is it Shimms question ?>>>>>>>>>> runs for cover

HI There Sandie
Was asking about you earlier.
You sound as if you have been busy

What a coincidence my Grandson Lochie had Gulliane Barre Syndrome when he was 18 months old. Doctor kept saying it was a virus. I told my son to get him to the hospital, Went staright into ICU and it took them 3 days to diagnose. He was like a Rag Doll couldn't sit up and if he did he fell over. Luckily they caught it in time but it took a good nine months of Physio to get him able to sit again. only 1 in every 100,000 people get it and is most unusual in Children. Lochies doctor had never had a case of GBS in 30 years as a Doctor. He is 7 now but still goes once a year for checkups. My son and his wife worked really hard with him as well as Doctors to get him back to a normal little boy. He was so lucky
