Shimms my Great Nice Aleeya was so good for me this morning. She has started to say a few words like Dadda and Mamma I kept saying Jack to her this morning and she actually said it. My sister was livid she wanted her to say Grandma first lol. She soon got over it though. She said I bet you have been sat there all mornigng teaching her Jack lol. All My nephews and nieces call me Auntie Jack

Shimms, thanks for asking food is all ok, we still have tons of snow on the side roads, about a foot in the garden and was first thing about 6ins on the drive. Hubby just drove his car through it as it is level, son dug out a pathway the one side so get his car back on the drive and cleared the drift at the front of the drive. But as he said 'it wasn't up to my expectations', where they need to manoeuvre the cars later on , so I did a bit of extra clearing.
Jackie, I understand the logic of firebreakers but it was the rest that lost me.lol
Daphne, the breadwinner is doing that at present, but he is the one who normally does the clearing, and son has done SOME clearing today.

The Government have decided to give every person who earns less than $100,000 per year a one of amount of $950. He wants us to spend the money to help with the economy. (Pensioners and people on the Dole are excluded)
Now they are talking about giving that money to the Victorian Victims of the fire. But the Opposition object as they say that money wasn;t allocated for that purpose. All I was saying was surely they can bend the rules does it really matter what it was alllocated for give it to those poor people. We know for sure thay will spend it.
They had a pole on MSN and I can't remember the figures but a lot of people said they would not spend the money. That's not the idea of the money to save it.
