Yes there was a Bush fire set of by someone messing around with Flares. After all that has been on the news this week and still the idoits do stupid things

Its all under control thank goodness

Just as well we don't need anymore tragedy.
One of our regular business customer's has 10 homeless relatives staying in his house luckily they didn't loose anyone only property.

I saw on TV last night a Man that is doing so much. Just a normal family man and he is helping all he can He said he can feed and house them as long as in neccesary. He has very little himself but still there to help. Brought tears to my eyes there are so many caring people. Wish I lived closer so I could do something. You feel so helpless.

I believe over 1800 homes have been lost now with over 7,000 people homeless its such a tragedy

Son and girlfriend still haven't unpacked their cars there are fires still burning around their little town although the school is open and most of the towns children are back .

Oh Dear Daphne poor things they must still be really worried. I wouldn't sleep at night with the fires still burning. Best to keep packed for a little while though until they are 100% sure all will be Ok. You are in for some more heat soon I believe so better to be safe than sorry

Heard a great suggestion on the radio.With the mining towns having put off so many people they have lots of transportable houses empty.They are nice houses too with air conditioning and all mos cons if they could be trucked in where needed temporarily it would help greatly but so far they haven't offered.

They take turns sleeping still.

Oh I hope someone picks up on the Idea and helps out. It would be so good for the ones that have lost property. Until their homes are rebuilt or they decide what to do. I know there are so many caring people putting them up but they must feel uncomfortable being there and to have their own place even if it is temporary would give them a boost

Have they thought about moving? Work commitments I suppose keeps them there and of course the Children and school

Those houses are built to be moved from one mining site to another they come apart down the middle and it takes two trucks to move it and not long at all to join up .I lived in one once and they are quite comfortable.

They love the place it really is a lovely little town. I tried to get my son to move last time there were bad fires and he was alone then.

I suppose it would be a big project but I am sure if someone starts it off others would follow. Just need the mining companies to help out and I am sure some big transport companies would soon volunteer to help move them.

They could truck them to the railway and use trains it would be cheaper.
