Good afternoon everyone
Hope you have a lovely day today.
Weather is sunny as usual about 30C so not too bad today.
Cleaned all my desks and drawers this morning and filed a heap of stuff I have been meaning to do. Threw a heap of junk away too. Hubby shredded all the paper stuff for his worm farm and compost bin.
I washed all my ornaments (Grrrr) why do people keep buying them me.
( darn dust collectors)

How are you both today ? Quite cloudy here but he snow's all gone.

Yeah fine really , thanks, just want to get into the fresh air and do something different rather than shopping, perhaps I'll go for a short drive, I need to go to check dad's house is ok anyway. It's up for sale, When I spoke to the estate agent last week he said it was fine, but I like to go and check, brush away some of the cobwebs (literally) clean the kitchen surfaces, hubby put in a brand new kitchen and bathroom , but it's an old stone cottage and surprising how much dust settles even with it being empty.

Oh bless Sandie, you'll be walking down memory lane ... hold onto those memories of happy times there.

Dust ... yes, our family had a country cottage on the borders of Scotland, beautiful real fires too. How I remember ... oh, such happy memories for me, loved it so.

I was sketching and watercolouring roses yesterday.

We have retained the old blacklead grate and fire at the one end of the kitchen and the chimney is still open so that causes dust.
