For authentic Chinese the star anise goes into the oil with the ginger ,garlic and spring onions first and when the dish is finished a little real sesame oil is added. |

The problem is she's cooked this a bit later than norm,so I won't be hungry for 5.00pm, but have to cook for hubby ,son and probably she'll eat again with them. I normally just have a sarnie at midday. |
