Jackie I am an earring fanatic with a huge collection but I couldn't change them that fast. lol

Oh , just had the call,
I said a bit of pruning lol,,, hubby's just totally cut down my 7 ft Escallonia cos it was over hanging 'his' lawn !!!
It's an evergreen shrub with white/pink flowers and I cut it right back a couple of yrs ago with the intention of digging it out, he forgot about it and it shot back up again within a few months, So he say's it's ok it will come back like it did before. Well maybe it will !
Next job is the laurel hedge ,again is about 7ft high ,40 ft long and I find it difficult to prune, can't take a hedge trimmer to it branches are too thick, and haven't got a chain saw. Son is dying to have a go at it, but with an axe !
Now have a load of branches to go to the 'green recycling skip' tomorrow, at least 3 trips in the car, or bundle them up for collection by our local council, which may take 3 weeks, depending on their waiting list.

Edit .. I wrote this about an hr ago and have just got back from another call from hubby about the boot of my car being wet ! Oh well it's 5 yr old , time for a change, he says,,, we really can't afford it !!!! It''s sound otherwise but dau did have a bump on the rear end 3yrs ago (Insurance job), MOT due in April ,so he's thinking of selling it privately atfer it passes. !!
Sorry i've not been in the game.
Must get tea on now, back in a while.

Some country has chocolate coated cockroaches in tins but I can't remember where.
