I was complementing Perse on her youngest son's achievements, and saying my son had taken over as my helpline , rather than my hubby.

My second sentence may get this whooshed again !!

When my youngest was highchair age we would watch Mastermind. If the contestant did not know the answer they would quickly say pass to go to the next one. Little miss picked up on it and would sit there saying Pass after nearly every question... She was good she never spoke until the question was finished... then she would say pass look at us and giggle.

She went on to be on the debating team at school and was the captain of one of the general knowledge teams as well. Now she does website creations and gives presentations etc for the company she works for.

Perse.. Just checking back ..it started to alter in about Dec 2008, I think the ' STARTS with a number' was beginning to to become very difficult and the participants evolved it so there was actually a number in it.not necessarily first and often more than one,, but there needs, somewhere to be a number...not all letters.

Yes I agree to someone new looking at the heading it would be confusing.
Jackie from Oz and Daphne.. who don't post any more , used to put up some real corkers.. we all enjoyed it , the number of posts and pages show that :-)
It's not my thread, so only Sue can change the heading.

I still enjoy it tho.. call me boring.. but I've always enjoyed quizzes on here and on TV.. mostly any type, University Challenge I always watch..can't get a lot of the answers, but it keeps the brain alert.. hopefully ;-)
