Did you sort it from over the other side of the harbour bridge Quinsgran? You are very clever.... Persie
You could have put up a conundrum whilst you were on here.

Do you hear that Sandie it is all sorted now.... was probably Linda's fault she more than likely has been cleaning all our keyboards...LOL

I had a problem putting up a post on the movie thread, it seems to pop up that angle bracket and curly bracket thing if you hit enter for a new line. It happens when you go to send. If you don't hit enter then you get to submit.

the Wandering Albatross has a Webspan Between 2.51 - 3.50 Metres the Largest of any Living Bird..?

Sandie, What is a webspan?????? You have been reading too much about Linda's dusting...lol.

the Wandering Albatross has a Wingspan Between 2.51 - 3.50 Metres the Largest of any Living Bird.

They come to the Taiaroa Head at Dunedin (Sth Island) to have their babies and our Dept of Conservation feed the big blighters with bucket loads of fish.

We have a bunker type lookout to look at them - it is a tourist attraction you go to this place and learn all about them. It is winter and you have to don up in all this wet weather gear looking like you are about to climb Everest.

They also take you to the disappearing gun(built to stop the Russians during the war) I was fascinated by it - didn't even know it was there the gun mechanisms still work and it pops up out of the ground andf to think in the seventies they were going to get rid of this slice of history.

You can see this and our one at North Head Devonport here in Auckland on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearing_gun

Oh and your turn Sandie - hope you have been watching Greenfingers as it shows that if you google "between 2.51 - 3.50 " you get the answer . Though you should put in the correct words not some invented one.

the W A has a W Between 2.51 - T.50 M the L of any L B

The - between the 2.51 - T.50 is a dash not a minus.

Change the last a and make it any...should make it easier.

Liz

Liz Report 13 Apr 2011 10:18

T.51 - T.50 = 2.51 - 2.50?

Or 12? Or 20? Or 30?

M = "Making" or "Marking"?

More guessing!

Persephone

Persephone Report 13 Apr 2011 01:33

No Sandie Not temperature but the fifty is correct

T.51 - T.50 are all numbers with decimal points OK?

the W A has a W Between T.51 - T.50 M the L of a L B

I am trying to help without giving it to you on a plate.... mind you I don't fancy it on a plate so won't be putting it on the food and drink thread. LOL
