Another nailbiter going on. Liverpool and Northampton 1 each and extra time looms.
First win for NUFC at Chelsea since 1986, Diane. Euphoria reigns.

Hi Sue~~
How are you? Well I hope:) Yes.......... Land of Hope and Glory is a British Patriotic Song, with Music by Edward Elgar and Lyrics by Arthur C Benson, Written in 1902. It is always Sung at the Last Night of the Proms.
The C isn't Charles, it's Christopher, I wasn't going to ask for the Christian names of Mr Benson (couldn't find them for a while lol )
Not a football fan I'm afraid, son and dau support Man U, hubby's a rugby man.
Over to you then hun:)

Guess on the "C" in Arthur Benson - Charles?
Hope you're both ok. It's a dream here - Newcastle beating Chelsea 3 -1! Can we keep this victory up????

Don't worry, Sandie. I just popped in for a quick visit before TV time!
Thought work was going to be quieter this year (academic) but at the moment it doesn't look like it!

Hi all ~~ Been out all morning.
Hair needs cutting and colouring ! So I 'decided' yesterday ( cos I have and inch of dark grey coming thro ) to go au natural. My 2 friends have done it and it looks great a steely grey. Mentioned it to hubby , he said , have it cut and then if you want to why not touch up the roots yourself. ( I begrudge the cost of the hairdressers costs and always did both myself for 30 odd yrs ). So he obviously would prefer the colour I am now ! and thinking about it my 2 friends have straight hair, cut quite short whereas mine is curly and grows like a bush.. so bought a root touch up in T*scs today !!!lol Don't think a grey bushy hairstyle would be very flattering!. I told my 90 yr old aunt yesterday ( she still has hers coloured,) her reaction was.. 'Oh no San, don't do it, I like it as it is'. She's like a mum to me :)) You have to listen you your mum's even when you're my age .LOL...... Right down to business !!
L o H a G i a B P S, w M b E E a L b A C B, w i 190T. i i a S a t L N o t P.
( First a in the 2nd line perhaps could be a Capital, cos not often seen around , but think it should be lower case )

Hi Sandie and the rest of you
It's been on and off drizzling here too, which was made all the worse by the fact that the great north run runs right outside my house, and the whole area is cordoned off - so that was me consigned to a day of housework. On the plus side - one very shiny flat. On the minus side - one stir-crazy woman!
R D was the Lead Singer of M G, who Sung "in the S", which Reached Number 1 in 1970, followed by B J, which Reached number 1 in 1971
I've added a pair of inverted commas, to see if that makes it easier for you.
