On 29th August 1966 the Beatles played their Last Concert in San Francisco, California.
It was actually in Candlestick Park !

They did perform later together but it wasn't a Concert.(that could be another question.lol, so I won't say any more:)

I know I haven't been around for some time but that was mostly to do with the fact I had a 5mth break from the GR site.

Liz sorry to hear your OH has not been to well, hope he is feeling better

On 29th August 1966 the Beatles played their Last Concert in San Francisco, California

They sent him home that evening and he's taken things easy since - still feels washed out and is struggling to eat properly, so he's not right. The only thing we can think is that it's a stomach bug type thing. It was a bit more than an ordinary faint as he couldn't remember anything we'd done the day before for quite a while, and still has no memory of the collapse, the ambulance or some of the time at hospital. Scary!

So sorry to hear of that, I do hope he is feeling better and on the mend, is he still in hosp.? of was it just for that day.

Hubby collapsed a few yrs ago at a family wedding at about 8pm.
Altho I was the taxi driver for the day he hadn't had that much to drink, he's not a big drinker, and had stopped quite a while before as he felt he had indigestion, but hadn't eaten since reception much earlier. He and dau are alike their sugar levels drop if they don't eat regularly, I suppose other peeps do too, but they both go faint and often pass out. I can go all day without food !
We had my mother in law and brother in law with us, and my brother in law insisted I took him to the hosp which was on the way home. Hubby wouldn't have an ambulance and felt OK after the initial faint.
They kept him in overnight as a precaution,tho the young Dr said that his BP and ECG results were fine and far better than his were !
In the past hubby's had cramp in the middle of the night and almost fainted, but that hasn't happened for yrs now.
I spent the rest of the evening taking mil and bil home and taking my dad home who was babysiting. They found nothing wrong and he's been fine ever since :)

It is frightening tho and I hope you both are fine now:)
