I certainly am greyghost! Snow's about 6" deep at the moment with more on the way but would be beautiful at the places you mention.

Just nice to see a posting relating to the area where I live <3 <3

I did not know that Simon and Duncan were buried at Rothiemurchas so thank you for that info. The year 1862 must have been a bad year for the family as Alexander (Duncan's younger brother) also died. He was only 29.

As greyghost says, you live in a lovely part of the country. I spent the whole of 1960 at Lossiemouth when I was in the forces but I didn't get down to your area.
