Member Since: August 2010 Posts: 32 Send Message	Hi I am hoping someone can help with my research into my Great granddad Sidney John Matthews. I have got very confused over the following On the 1939 register his date on birth is shown as 5th September 1888. However I can not find any birth records for this date. On his Marriage certificate to Clara Elizabeth Wallington in 1913, it gives his age at marriage as 23, which would point to is Birth being 1890. It also states his Father as John Mathews who's proffession is a Blacksmith, but I can not find this is any census record. On the Details I can find for his Death in 1957 aged 69 in High Wycombe although the registration district is Amersham it also gives his date of birth as 1888. If anyone can help it would be greatfully received Many Thanks Teresa :-)
