Hi there folks,Sent of to Glasgow for records of my Grandfather, unfortunately its the wrong address for these records. They don't hold records for Foot Guard Regiments, so for those who want to check it out, its, Archives, Regimental Headquarters, The Coldstream Guards, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1E 6HQ.Thanks |

Do you know a year or anything else about it? Is it from your family or one you found or bought? |

The regiment would hold the regimental/war diaries which will hold a lot of information about where the regiment was posted and which battles they fought in. |

Hubbie & I visited the Coldstream earlier in the year whilst on a visit to Durham and Northumberland. There is a small but well stocked museum in the town which is well worth a visit. The museum of the Border Regiments is in Berwick-upon-Tweed and is housed in the original barracks which makes it very atmospheric. |

I have finally sorted a copy of my grandads company or training unit group photo. He trained from feb to april 1918. He was then posted to the provisional Battalion, reserve battalion and then the 2nd battalion after the war. |
