Thanks Diddydoris - i think that is Frederick's father John. I would love to find something with Walter and John together. or a connection further back in the previous generation. Walter Alfred is the grandfather of the infamous Charlie Richardson but he is very hard to find on a census with his family. John George is the G Grandfather of my friend Kelly and she wants to find out how she is connected to the thugs of South London (don't ask why!!). There has been a story in her family and most of her living relatives won't talk about it. |

Hi Christine - thanks for that. Yes, I think those are the right census reports for Walter. Can you see any links with Frederick? Purveyor of horse flesh sounds like a traveller , doesn't it? |

Sorry Christine I'm talking rubbish. I have found Walter Alfred in 1911. He is living alone in Peckham and says he is a widower. He was a 'conductor' I doubt if that means of an orchestra - more likely a bus! I have bought that certificate. I can't find the other family. |
