	Help please as to where I can find information on a relative who served in the 2nd World War with the WAAF. Is there a central registry? I only know her name and date of birth. tonyp

	WW2 service records are not available except to proven next of kin. They cost £30.00 http://www.veterans-uk.info/service_records/service_records.html But........the WAAF was the Women's Auxiliary Air Force........nothing to do with the Army. The Army equivalent was the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) which later became the WRAC

	Worth a shot.............if you can give details of when she died, and confirm that she didn't have children, you should stand a pretty good chance
