I am looking for my grandfather marriage in about 1915

If you care to post your grandparents' names, and an idea of where they were married, perhaps someone can have a look for you.

You will find that a marriage entry on scotlandspeople will give you far more info than an English one. You will be able to view and download an image of the original entry and that will give you both his parents' names (not just his father) and his father's occupation.

It will cost one credit to view the results of the search and another five to view the image, so a lot cheaper than sending for an English cert!
