One of the suggestions is to search the newpaper archives. These are held on GR and FMP & can be searched if you like to give names. If your sub doesn't give access, do a free search then C&P anything that might be relevant for someone to access on your behalf |

Are you certain that the divorce you are looking for actually took place? It's just that at that time very few people could afford to divorce as it was quite expensive and relatively difficult to obtain. |

I have my parents divorce papers from 1960 and they don't give addresses either. |

Historical ER might have been transfered to either the main library if it has an archive/local history section, or possibly the county archive. You must have caught them at a busy time if they couldn't put themselves out to advise you. |
