I am trying to find anything on my grandmother Margaret howard born I think in 1888 I don't know whether she was born maybe Scotland her father made piano's that carried his name of howard she married Frederick shepherd when she was 21 in Ongar church Essex & she lived in queens crescent hampstead heath please can you help me |

Do you already have her marriage cert as you mention the church she married in? Was she living at Queens Crescent at the time of her marriage or following her marriage? |

I think this may well the family in 1901 with Margaret listed as Maggie - Her surname is a bad transcription of Howard!! All children born in St Pancras |

You really need Margaret Florence marriage cert if you don't have it to confirm her father, but if it is correct there is a possible marriage of her parents below |

As Ongar is a separate registration district to Billericay, it is probable that they were married in the Billericay register office and had a separate wedding in a church (catholic or nonconformist?). |

These WW1 records my belong to your Grandfather Frederick Shepherd, they confirm his wife as Margaret Florence Shepherd (Maggie crossed out) the address was, Remingtons Farm, Grey Hound Common, Little Warley. |
