That was a bit of luck. I wonder if it would be worth searching boot fairs to find old parish register lamps? |

Just a thought. One of the 'Crays' - would need to check which one - had a number of their PR stolen shortly after WW2. The Bexley Archivists suggested the vellum was sold on to make parchment lampshades which were popular at the time. |
