Oh, right- I see there is some confusion. I only see Bertram on the Birmingham Electoral register until 1952- possibly 1955 living at 404 Victoria Road. After this (at least until 1965), his son Bertram Samuel is listed as living there. |

He was found guilty, but insane. The articles I see in the paper don't make it clear where he was sent- although this link does say Broadmoor: |

As Shirley says, I think it would be best to order the certificate- this will then give details of his address (or institution) and the person who registered it. |
