Hi
Does anyone have access to Canadian Newpapers.
Iam looking for the obituary of The Hon John David Stuart Cromarty he was a QC in Supreme court born 1912 in Ontario died 1993 St Catharines Ontario, his wife Nancy Macleod Cromarty b 1919 died 2003 in St Catharines, seeking any children or relations mentioned.

Are you sure that he was born in Ontario? I can't see a birth for him nor can I see him on tha 1921 census.

He was on the Supreme Court of Ontario, not the Supreme Court of Canada ..... that distinction needs to be made :-)
He was apparently a student of the Lisogar Collegiate Institute ca 1926-1930 .......

THE BARRY CROMARTY TROPHY -MOST VALUABLE PLAYER - BASKETBALL (E)
F. Barry M. Cromarty ’63 was a keen basketball player on the early 1960s teams, becoming a captain of the 1963 team which won the first St. Catharines Standard Tournament trophy. He established this trophy in 1969 to recognize the most outstanding First Team player. His mother, remembering her happy days watching the teams of the 1960s, completed the endowment in 2000.
