You could do with a look through Parish Registers, an idea of first Baptism (if any there!) might help... |

so sorry and thanks for your help found the witten marriage the only marriage I cant find is jemimas to easu nice have got everyone else that's the other jemima married to Hawkins is another daughter certainly they are all coming out of the woodwork now . |

Stanway is a village and civil parish in Essex, England located near Colchester and within Colchester Borough. |

There seem to be a few Thomas Nice born in Essex. In the 1851 census there is a Thomas Nice visiting in St Luke's, Chelsea. He gives his birthplace as Colchester. Stanway is part of Colchester. He is aged 16 so a birth around 1835. |
