I was looking for a marriage record of Albert Walton and Katherine O'Rourke/Rourke around 1903'1904 in Lancashire. On the LANCASHIRE BMD I found them married 1904 Albert Walton and Katherine Rorke Salford St Philip Church/Register. When i look on Ancestry marriages putting the same names in it shows Katherine Rorke marries nobody called Albert Walton but there is an Albert Avery.

Can anybody help find the marriage to Albert Walton ? i know they married and lived in Blackburn in 1911 with children. I need the marriage record to find the parents names.

Just saw on the Ancestry marriage record there are only 5 names, in 1911 Albert Avery appears married to an woman called Agnes, one of the names on record.

Has anyone seen this before one name missing from the record.

It does happen now and again. You can still order the marriage certificate if you want to just giving Katherine's name.

Thank you all for your replies i wasnt expecting so much extra information, i am helping the grand daughter of Albert Walton i have just logged in to ask for help in finding them in 1891 census. I do know its the right family as 1939 reg names confirmed with his grand daughter. In 1904 Albert son married and 1905 daughter Julia married i cant find parents Thomas or Mary though and other children in 1911.

I find Thomas Walton in 1881 in Aston Birmingham with family
Thomas is 26yrs wife SARAH and 4 children. I think Sarah may have died in 1888 , by the 1901 census Thomas is in Salford but his wife now Mary. Any ideas on who his wives were?

I havent started on the Rorke side yet so thanks for the head start.

All the children have mother's maiden names as Brookes/Brooks
