The best of luck for your daughter Jane. It sounds as if he may have told a porky to get the loan as, if the mortgage was in joint names, and the deeds, he would have needed your daughter's agreement to the loan I think. I hope you can get it sorted.

Jane ,if you can't see a solicitor try to get in touch with The Citizens Advice people they are very helpful and could possibly get a solicitor to speak to you on the phone as it''s an emergency.

Hi D.l. ,this granny spent the day with a very determined 21/2 year old who eventually got her own way and used the laptop for playing games, just as welll papa was busy with our exchange student. She was very clever with it ,I was most impressed by how quickly she worked out how to position the cursor and get the results she wanted. My grandchildren call me daftgrannie and their other gran is normal granny I can tell you she says she's never been called "normal" in her life and thinks it quite an insult. For my part daft is quite mild compared to some of the things I've been called lol.

Son and partner decided to do some shopping today and bless their little hearts thought it would be wiser to leave Baby with me than have strangers breathing over her,as they do.So I had her to myself for an hour, well not really Sophie and I had her to ourselves. She was very good except she wanted to change the nappy! I did let her help but once she realised it was dirty and not just wet she quickly changed her mind and changed her dolly's instead.Wise girl.I seem to have had a relapse on the flushes front ,it's been continuous since I woke up this morning one after the other so the search is back on for a remedy........all suggestions gratefully received!!

Morning girls, and welcome Black Rose.

Sorry to heart about your girl jane, what a ba*****d doing that to her, but there are plenty about in this world I'm afraid. Hope it all gets sorted and quickly, must be such a worry for you.

Glad the grannies are still doing ok!

I worked the other night and the lady I work with on occasions daughter got badly beaten up the other night as she and her friend walked home from the local village pub...by a gang of three girls!! What is the world coming to! We live in the wilds of Norfolk, it's very rural, no shop and one bus a day I think. Anyway this happenned in a little market town about five miles up the road. Apparantly the police can't really do anything as they're not eighteen.....arggghhh!!! It's pathetic, no bloody wonder they do this type of thing as they know they will get away with it!

That doesn't sound right to me Pam.I8!!! There should be no reason why the police should not follow this up.Disgraceful I say. Those girls will be laughing their heads off now and will no doubt do the same again.

Hi Jane, yes it's wrong isn't it. My friend at works daughter is now sufferring pannic attacks over this and is on tablets. If that's not reason enough for these B****ARDS to be sent to reform or borstal I don't know what is!! The poor girls have had to have rests as these swines bit them and a couple of them are known drug users. Sorry for the language but this bloody country is a soft a s***t with scum like this. A young girl in bits like this through no fault of her own!! I'm so annoyed...better watch my blood pressure.

Pam.

PS Jane this isn't the first time these ar*e holes have been in trouble with the police.

It's so wrong Pam.I worked with Victim support for 10 years and saw this kind of thing so often. And then sometimes if things got as far a court, and the villian got off scot free I was left with a very distraught victim feeling so let down. They felt they just weren't believed.
I hope yours friends daughter has been offered help from VS.You can self refer too.

Morning everyone.
Good Morning Jane, Oh what it is to have a goodnight sleep, OH away till tomorrow night, went yesterday morning, so I had the bed to myself and only had to get up once in the middle of the night, didn't need to keep throwing of the quilt so much either. HEAVEN.

weathers not so nice here dull & cloudy, then showery on & off, I'm going to have to use the clothes horse to dry the few bit of washing I have. mostly dad's slip over jumpers and his trousers, and underwear.
He landed at the back door this morning at 8.00, I'm still in my dressing gown.
sent him back home and told him to wait for the bus. Carer was in at nine so everything was fine by the time I got there. OH yes!!! found a whole bottle of milk in the kitchen cupboard, Yuck!!, never been opened, gone all gloopy and thick. Dad's gets mixed up with the cupboards & fridge now.
Nevermind if it's not one thing it's another.!!!

Norning ladies, yes AB think that my friend is going to kick up a fuss over the incident with her girl, and rightly so. I try not to think about it too much as I get angry and I've not even met her daughter...but it does p*ss you off!

Fiona your poor old dad does get in a pickle, I've had some of it with my dad's partner years ago and it's very sad.

I've been sleeping so much better too...think it could be that the nights are so much cooler.

Take care and have a good day....

Pam.

INSTALLING HUSBAND

A woman writes to the IT Technical support Guy

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and I noticed a
distinct slowdown in the overall system performance, particularly in the
flower and jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend
5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as
Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable
programs such as NEWS 5.0, MONEY 3.0 and CRICKET 4.1.

Conversation 80 no longer runs, and House cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the
system..

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but
to no avail..

What can I do?

Reply

Dear Madam,

First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while
Husband 1.0 is an Operating System.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme. html and try to download Tears 6.2
and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.
If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically
run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5..

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to
default to Silence 2.5 or Beer 6.1..
Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the
Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0
(it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all
your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program.
These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory
and cannot learn new applications quickly.
You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and
performance
We recommend: Cooking 3.0 and Hot Looks 7.7.

Good Luck Madam!

Our exchange student left this morning and I'm suffering "empty nest" syndrome all over again.I love looking after folk and even enjoyed doing his ironing!IHe was a lovely young man, the kind you'd want your daughter to settle down with.Where did the years go ?It doesn't seem that long ago since we had hoards of teenagers inhabiting our spare room ,raiding the fridge, asking advice about girls and being loud and happy. My O.H. says we don't age a day at a time ,there are some things that make you realise how quickly time has gone.Looking at our 21 year old with his wee daughter brought a tear to his eye and made him think that WE are the older generation in our family ,a somewhat sobering thought.
