I have got a blooming grasshopper in my lounge.2 days now and it is nearly always on the ceiling !! So no use pointing it out to the dog lol.I would like to think it is eating up any loitering spiders up there.
I have the BIG fan about 4 feet away from me at the mo.It is just so stuffy.

OMG OH just rang from work to say he has come over all achy and has a temp!!!!! I just oinked at him lol.
Spare room for me tonight then.

He isn't a very good patient Christine.Typical man if you know what I mean.At least he has a nice fresh bed to go to ,as I have just changed it.

Nice dry day today, went out into that strange place, the Garden! Runner beans growing like mad, tomatoes looking fed up with all the wet! Cats have actually been outside today.
Am off tomorrow to have my six monthly bloods done. I dread it becuase the nurse has to have multiple tries to get blood out of my arm and there is only one arm to get it from. If you have had a mastectomy you are not supposed to take blood from that side as you have your underarm glands removed to check the cancer has not travelled. Dont know what they do if you have had a double mastectomy!

Morning ladies,

Yes hope all goes well for you tomorrow Jean. You've been through the mill too Elizabeth, especially with that woman sounding like she was hung over!! Doesn't inspire confidence does it.

Oh dear had to get up, wnt to bed about midnight and managed to get to sleep fairly quick, which makes a change...then hubby came up to bed reeking of fags, he's obviousley fell asleep again...really thinking about moving into spare room full time when this happends!

Woke up just before hubby came up to bed, i heard him cough so couldn't have been in a deep sleep...I woke all sweaty and feeling crap. This really is hitting me hard these last few weeks especially. thinking about going to see the doctor but think he'll just say there's nothing he can do.

Well expect I'll be shatterd in the morning...nice I can come on here for a moan though...expect you're all tucked up....speak soon,

Pam.

PS Again good luck Jean for tomorrow, well today now.......xxx

Morning Ladies.
I hope it goes well today Jean.My OH and daughter have very awkward veins, and mine are brilliant for getting blood from.
My dear friend is having a mastectomy on the 27th.She is waiting for results of her scan to see if it has spread to the other boob.
Poor you Pam.Touch wood I have been having much better nights these last few months, and it makes such a difference. If I were you I would use the spare room for a while.
Right must get off now ,the dog is pestering me for his walkies lol

Morning ladies,

Hope you're all ok thus far today...

May give that a try Lizzie the Menpopace, we've been talking about having a week a way somewhere next month Menorca or Malta...gawd I'll have to have guttering fixed around me!! I have never been that bothered about going on holiday, maybe it's as I don't work full time and we live in a nice part of the countryside...but hubby says he needs a break.

Your poor friend Jane, some people don't have a lot of luck do they. Our son popped over last night, his colleague at works grandson who's only 3 years old is in Gt Ormond Street and has kidney stones, he must be so frightened the poor little boy as he doesn't want to do a widdle as it hurts him so much. Apparantly they don't know what's causing it. I felt close to tears when he told me.

Ah well going for a tepid bath i think.

Have a good day ladies...hope Jean is getting on alright.

Hi Everyone,

Pam the night owl! lol. I thought it was baking hot last night and didn't sleep too well myself. It is very hot here today. I just went in the bedroom and was taken aback by a view of hairy legs and shorts outside and level with the window sill !! lol The gutter workmen are obviously feeling the heat too!

Glad your OH is a bit better Jane and it's a shame about your friend .....a worrying time for her and I hope it hasn't spread. A friend of mine's mother, same age as me, didn't go to the doctor at first, hoped the lump would go away. Sadly it has spread to her bones and is terminal now.

Which neck of the woods are you in Lizzie? I remember my sister got something from the doctor for her flushes and she said it worked very well. I worked with someone whose palms used to drip over her desk at work and she struggled to grip her pen. Mine has always been a hot dripping face, body and knees. I hate it when your bra and pants go all clammy.

Hope you don't get any bruises today Jean.

Have had my bloods done! This nurse gets top marks as she only went in once and there is only a little bruise. Took a urine sample as well and they now send Have to go now, a housebound neighbour wants me!them off to the lab, not do them in the surgery, specifically for kidney problems.

WOW!!!!!!! had to come in from the garden as it's very warm out there. OH gone to Morris**** to pick up some food for a BBQ tonight. Had planned to go out for dinner but daughter no 2 still slogging away at the sewing so it's best if we stay at home.

DizzieLizzie
I had to come off HRT the second time as it was making my migraines worse.
I was fine when I was younger, but over the last few years I started to have blood spotting and the hospital put me back on HRT, but my head ached and my migraines were horrendous, so i said never again will I go on HRT. I'd rather have the hot flushes than the headaches anytime.
