Oh, its getting close now girls.
I booked on line but silly me forgot to book the breakfast this time,so will do it when we get there.
Will pick up Uzzi BEFORE going to pub next door this time. I think we arrive the same time as last year,1pm on the Friday,but will have to check booking to be sure.Also staying the extra night and not leaving till Monday morning.
Hope pub has enough tables outside this year, Will be there early if its sunny.Must make sure Wend behaves herself when sitting outside this time. :-D

Ha ha Mo, I must remember to take my own milk with me to the pub next door !

Newbie with no clue where to go here. :-( Getting into Sheffield around 6pm on Friday and wondering how many of you will be in Sheffield then?

When I get to Sheffield I shall buy a PAYG chip for my phone for the week and will hand out the number.

What time are people supposed to be arriving at the hotel....

Sue don´t get lost around the bus station walk straight through it to come out of the other side, up the steps past the Penny Black and down Shude Hill, Under the bridge and Ibis is on the left hand side

Stray you can´t get lost this year as you know the coach station ! :-D I bet you go via the Queens to see if we are in there !

Sue not sure of all the times I shall already be there no matter what time, It really doesn´t matter what time people make it on the Friday if we aren´t at the hotel we will more than likely be at the Old Queens for dinner

Coming in by train. Should be able to get from the train station to the hotel but have no sense of direction. Is the pub far from the hotel?

Tawny, The bus station is diagonally across the road from the train station. A short walk either round the pavement or through a covered walk way (best option). The Queens is at the far end of the bus station through an archway from where the coaches drop off.
The hotel. If you walk through the centre of the bus station to the furthest side (away from the trains) to the right side is the coach drop off, to the left is a set of steps. Up the steps and there is a pub on the corner called The Penny Black, to the right of this leads you down the road to Old Queens, to the left (as you are facing it) go down the (sloped) road under the bridge ...I will say this road looks a bit scarey in the dark..under the bridge and on the left hand side is the IBIS. If you get to the Norfolk Arms you have gone 1 building too many :-D

As said previously on Tuesday 9th June maybe even on the Monday I will put a phone number on here so I can be located.
