2008 hope it brings us all happiness its important to be happy . and healthy the best we can .

i do my mams tradition always make 2 big pans of broth the day before just incase hungover the next

been sitting here looking at my tree
wondering when to start up again
daughter said last night she would come to france with me to see if theres any info there about my cornelious , not sure if she was tipsy though lol

Someone on another site asked me how sure i was my Gfather was born in UK because its looking like he was out in India and Burmah at a very early age when he was in the army (just found this out too), now i wonder if he too was born in India.....the plot thickens!!!!!
I am going to try my very best to find out all i need to know so i can finally build a family tree !!!

Just spent half an hour catching up on all the messages posted on this thread since I last put in an appearance, wow! Good job you lot are here and are keeping this thread alive and kicking. :)

Have had family down on Saturday, out on Sunday busy all day yesterday didn't have any time to get near comp at all and then out for the new year at friends we haven't seen for a few months. So finally managed to catch up today.

Sorry there has been bad news for some of us for the start of the new year, let's hope things get on the up from now on. Sending my best wishes to you. And a hearty welcome to our newest nudger Tilly Mint! Jacky, I used to get called that sometimes too, more often than not because I was so skinny I used to get Lynt the Splint! Not any more lol

Will make every effort to get back on later and have a chat. I spotted Hayley's message so I have pmd her too.

Lyn, I still only weigh 8 stone.........the girls in work can't beleive how much i eat and never put any weight on.............Lol

i was 8and half before breast cancer
put on a stone since breast nurse said it was the medication . off that now havent been able to shift
the weight
starting monday 7th im on a diet and excercise plan with my daughter. must lose it by the summer .
so its full steam ahead im really determined this time .
