Cauliflower Cheese

Has the dau calmed down now - nothing to our situation yesterday

Neighbours very kindly placed a load of old junk in our garden behind the shed - OH decided couldn't be bothered to moan & stir a hornets nest up - so we bundled it all in the car & took it down the tip - the very heavy iron beadstead on the top as it was too big - so placed it on all the soft stuff & rubbish - left the tail gate open.

Our tip has several road humps to slow the traffic down & a very nasty big one near the entrance to stop people racing down the road. OH forgot the tailgate was open - as the car bumped over the large hump in the road - the old beadstead bounced with it & in so doing bounced down on the rubbish - springs bouncd higher & it rebounded up to the tailgate - almighty crash & showers of glass everywhere - we felt right idiots - they helped us clean up & then off to get a new heated rear windscreen - not the sort of relaxing Saturday we wanted. Oh said he won't do that again - so it was a learning experience. Must admit all the little cuts healed up very quickly - strange how you seem to cut yourself so much on tiny poeces of glass.

We left the tip at 12:30 went home - sorted out the insurance - arranged to go & get the window mended - ended up home at 6pm £75 lighter - which i could really do without at the end of the month

Heck ,Tabitha.... what a palaver for you, something you could do without !
I'd be inclined to dump something in their garden (I know that's spiteful and hubby wouldn't go along with it, but doesn't it make your blood boil )
