Hello all

Quite nice here in the South Est of WA yesterday, which was just as well as i had to go out last evening to a very small town called Greenbushes. Went through Donnybrook which is a big fruit growing area similar to thr Vale of Evesham. All the fruit trees (mainly apple and stone fruit) were in blossom. Very pretty.

the problem was I had to travel back in the dark with all the attendant potential probles with kangaroos on the Road. Doing the trip again on Saturday :-(

Hi Allan~~
I guess a K'roo would make 'quite' a dent in your car if you hit one !

They have been known to write cars off, Sandie. Soetimes a Driver is killed when the swerve to miss one and hit a tree :-( Unlike the UK many roads in this area have substantial trees growing right at the road's edge. The number of single car crashes involving the death of the driver involve trees. When you see the total demolition of the car, speed is also a significant factor

We only have squirrel to worry about around town here - little bit smaller than the good old roo's

I think it would scare the living daylights out of me if one hopped out the bush at me.
