yep!! We've done about five now, but this has been the best. We have another one just before Christmas but no one is sure how it will go. It's a new venture by the store that organises the sausage sizzles. they want to have one evry day in the week leading up to Christmas.

Turkey & Ham Sandwiches

Good news about the Sausage sizzle - might be a bit much having one every day - people will get fed up with them & run out of money too just before Christmas

It seems very strange when we have such cold drizzle here to be thinking of Crimbo down under in the sun with a BBQ. We will all be sunggled round a fire with winter wollies on - maybe even snow one day -

I can only remember it snowing once actually on Christmas day when I was little - I live on the south coast & we get very little snow usually. But boy when we do get it - it can last for ages the worst was a couple of years ago just after Christmas - it lasted for days & was over 2 feet deep in places - right over the top of my wellies.

lol Tabitha. Christmas down under just doesn't seem the same. I remember the early dark in the UK and most of the houses with trees in the windows, all lit up :-)

depending on the temps here, there is no way you can have the traditional roast Christmas dinner.

That's another thing I remember; putting the Turkey in to roast overnight and the great smell in the morning.

Not sure what is like nowadays....perhaps nostalgia isn't what it used to be :-D :-D
