Hi ladies,

Squadron leader here!! LOL!

Looks as though i've missed you all and you've gone to bed.

Tina, five years! Doesn't surprise me, men never finish what they start, well mine doesn't unless it's to do with his bloody car...he's car mad!

Yes won't be long before we hit the thousand post mark, little did I realise how well this would go when I started it on the 9th April. I remember sitting in here and thinking, "Christ I ache all over and feel like sh*t, can't remember a thing and my ars* and stomach have doubled in size this past year"...and hey presto we all gathered and have put the world to rights and had some good giggles!

Can anyone copy and paste, we could submitt this for a book or film, think we've said this before...but you know what my memories like!!

It's the change, Argghhh!

Speak tomorrow girls,

sleep well,

Pam.xxx

Morning All,

Wales was lovely and Bodnant wonderful!

Talk about ache now though!! Probably scrambling up stone spiral staircases at Harlech Castle didn't help!! Made me think why are most steps soo high? I suppose men have a hand in the decisions, ones that are over 6 foot tall!! lol Same as hand dryers in toilets......you hold your hands up to them and water trickles down to your elbows!!! lol

Well, back to cereals this morning.....sunday it was tea and tiffin, sounds posh doesn't it!!!!! lol

Many things to do.......and all your posts to catch up on......see you later....

Morning Ladies ,glad you had a great break Ann.Did you get the horse drawn barge on the viaduct?
I still haven't seen my son.I left a little note in the kitchen saying we will be having a chat today, and I had chucked his pile of dirty clothes on the landing. They were gone this morning ,so I assumed he had brought them down to the garage(where washing machine is)How silly was I to assume that!!
I think they were dragged back into his room Arrrrggggghhhhhh.
I am now going to ring to make an appointment to get this B***** chin sorted with electrolysis.I want it done now lol

Morning ladies and glad to see you back Ann, hope you had a nice break in Wales...yacky da! That's Welsh isn't it!!

No Helen, no goaties please...it's not a good look is it!? As you say, Tina seems in a rush!

I keep thinking why don't I lose weight, don't get me wrong I'm not a huge lady, but I 'feel' fat and have never been as big as this before...sigh...it must be the menopause. I do tend to eat between meals more though.

Back later,

Pam. xx

Didn't bother taking my eye make up off last night as i've run out of eye make up remover...I had a look of a lema this morning...a bloody old knackered one too! ☺

Back sooner than I thought...husband is at home today...so may sound a bit short...oh dear I've never known such a load of fuss about putting a ruddy blind up!! It's not that I ask for much either. It's 'cos it's not a car, if it was to do with his car or my car he'd be there like a shot. Keeps tutting and losing his glasses...be glad when he's back to work tomorrow!

Perhaps should re name the thread..Women from Venus men from Mars...it's gonna be a long day!

Hi Pam,
Why don't you paint a few cars on the blind....might get it done quicker LOL

Then get a fan belt and tie his glasses around his neck.... done in no time !!

Off to have me stitches out ....today.
See the handsome Consultant, be disappointed if I see one of his team.
Got me smart outfit ready ......I'm hoping for a wink...just to make my day LOL

Thats my face sorted.Had an eyebrow tidy while I was there too.I only had my eyebrows done for the first time ever just a few months ago.I have never done them myself.I do feel as though now they are thinner it doesn't make me look like I'm frowning all the time lol.
I colour my hair Lorraine.Wouldn't dare not now.I don't think the chemicals are as strong as they were years ago,so I reckon you'd be fine. They always do a skin test first.Go for it girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GRMarilyn Report 5 May 2009 12:22

Lorraine,

Dont worry about dying your hair,as Helen says it is safe these days.

I do my own Highlights, Hubby is trained to do the back ,but kills me with pain, yanks the hair through the highlighter cap like pulling out weeds LOL,......I say every time to him *that's it I going to the hair dressers next time* but I never do .
I get the hair colour at wholesale so it works out really cheap for me.

GRMarilyn

GRMarilyn Report 5 May 2009 18:48

Lorraine,

Hubby has his nostril hair trimmed and I do his ears otherwise I'd would of divorced him years ago.....LOL

Cant have a hairy man, not my scene !!

But he does preen himself with cream moisturizers every day after the shower. So I guess he's as bad as any women....!

Jane

Jane Report 5 May 2009 19:05

I dare not say I don't like a hairy man!!!!.Mine has a beard and plenty of body hair ........bit like me lol

Fiona

Fiona Report 5 May 2009 19:29

Hi there
Been colouring my hair for years now, don't think I want to look at the gray strands which are starting to come through , OH was 52 on 9th April and is almost gray now, he started going bald in his 30's but so did his dad , they both have the same hair line(well did have FIL died 1995)
Marilyn I trained OH to do my roots when we were first married to. but since I get my hair layered, would'nt dare let him near me with a pair of sissors now, I usually go to the hair dressers when my roots are about 2" long thats when my fringe is over my eyes and I look like a Dulux dog.

*sits down with cuppa, ahhh thats better*

Good Evening Ladieeees

I have glanced through the "post" for today. Sorry, but yes I was rather in a hurry this morning, did not have time to look in properly so just said a hasty good morning and a wave lol.

Now - hair dyeing, would love to! Honestly, I have not been to a hairdressers for years and years have done a home rinse that washes out years ago but never had a "proper" dye.

As to the wig suggestion, I think its quite good, because you could be a blond one day and a brunette another. There are some really lovely wigs around these days, just a bit pricey thats all. I would love to turn up in work with a style and colour of a wig and see everybodies comments, thing is though now I am getting rather thin on top - The Change - Arrgghhh - so think peeps would notice if suddenly I had this thick lucious head of hair lol.

In fact my grandmother was rather thin on top God bless her, so am taking after her as regards that, actually her right knee played her up too, I also have that! Its very kind of our relations to pass things on but some things I do wish they would keep to themselves LOL.

Welcome back Ann, glad you had a lovely time in Wales.

AB are you Welsh, you appear to know some phrases?

Tina xx

~EDIT - considering I am 52, I have quite a good head of dark brown hair, a lot of peeps much younger than me are totally grey! Get that from my other grandmother, with the possible French connection.

Helen,
Dont think I'll be running after your HO then with a beard !!!!

Mind you Ive never kissed a man with a beard......Does it itch Helen ?

I'd be frightened of touching it in the night ,might be the cat come back to haunt me ...LOL

Going for my bath now...~~~~~~~~xx
