Thanks Ann, I'm sure you're right, I know she has gone a lot deeper into asking me questions than any of the others ever did. Probably that's the reason why I feel more uncomfortable with her. I don't dislike her, but there is something about her that makes her different form the others.

Hoping to do some scrap pages tomorrow. The problem is, the pages seem to be taking me longer to do, but I will keep going.

Ann,I have to look after my chicks. I was worse when my own chicks left the nest though. But that was many moons ago with a few off them.
Thank goodness, our Sallie has checked in.
I am so pleased for you Sallie. Talking really does help doesn't it. Sometimes we tend to wipe things from our memory, especially if we have found them hard to deal with initially.
Then they rear their ugly heads, and come back and bite us on the bum.
Keep up the good work, and get it all off your chest.
Well I can go to bed now,and sleep soundly in the knowledge that all is well with our brood.
Night Night all. God bless. See you tommorrow. Love Mo xxx

Helloooo girls.
Sorry I was here yesterday, but I have had a bit off a tummy bug. Feeling a
little better today,thank goodness.
Today when I got up,it was like a winter wonderland outside. No not the dreaded snow word,a very thick frost. Thank goodness for heated windscreens,as our car looked like an igloo. It soon cleared and we were able to go and get the shopping.
And now we have beautiful sunshine, but it is very very cold outside.
I do hope you are all well. Take care off yourselves. Speak to you again soon. Love Mo xxx

Hello Girls,
Hope all is well with everyone! It's been quite a nice bright day here so far, although it looks as though there are a few more clouds about than earlier on today.

Mo, I hope you 'll feel a lot better over the next day or two, try and rest and put your feet up.Have you heard anymore news about your granddaughter and nephew? I've been thinking about them and wondering how they are.
Jennie and Michael came over yesterday morning after she had her medication, she said the injection is a bit painful, not so much when the needle goes in, but when the medication itself is going through. As she says, it's a lot better than suffering from the bad symptoms of Crohn's.

Jean, I now know why I feel a bit uncomfortable with the the 'therapist', she's a psychiatrist, so of course a medically trained doctor, and with me being terrified of doctors all my life, BINGO! One good about seeing her, is that I now feel as though I'm getting somewhere. You have been busy making the scarves! How long do they take to knit up? Alun had a day off yesterday, so after Jennie and Michael went home, we went to Hobbycraft and the Range, which are near each other, I bought some sheets of die-cut decoupage, card, paper, buttons and some more Stickles, so that should keep me going for a short while. Hope J and D are both okay.

Ann, have you done anymore scrap pages or cards? I've been reading your Craft page , Daff seems to be doing really well with her scrap pages, she's sounds very enthusiasticI haven't posted on there for a while, but at the moment I can only seem to post on here, but feel sure that it won't be too long before I'll be able to post on other threads again.

Alun has gone to watch Derby and Swansea play this afternoon, he's gone on a bus, full of Derby supporters and sitting in the Derby supporters stand. We've all warned him not to shout for Swansea, in case he'll get mobbed.Ha, Ha.

Marie, we haven't heard from you for a short while, I hope everything is alright. Take care!

Huia, are you getting on with Ancestry, hope itt's all coming together for you. Pleased to hear that Phil was well the last time you visited visited him. Good luck with Ancestry!

Sorry, the message posted before I had finished it,

Debbie, hope you and your family are all okay, I expect youv'e had a busy week with it being half term.

Marilyn, not too long before you go to Oz and NZ. How long are you going for?

Liiz, hope is well with you. Did your OH buy you a slow cooker, after he promised. I hope he did!

Sylvia, I hope both you and OH are alright. Have you done anymore knitting ready for the baby? It won't be too long now to wait now, will it. Good luck for Monday, I'll be thinking about you.

Bye for now, speak to you all soon.

Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Hello Mo, and Sallie, poor old girl, you should put you thermals on Mo, at you age you have to take extra care......runs off quick.....have a hug (((((( X )))))

Sallie I wish I was like you your letter writng is brilliant. I really enjoy reading them,
the scarves took only... wait for it......... half an hour each so fast once you manage to get them casted on. I used 4mm needles, and four stitches on one and six stiches on a thinner wool. and still they were quite bulky. dont know if I like them or not....I may just give them away, ....I think you sound so much more positive with your treatment it can only get better for you...
D has been swatting all day ready for her assesment on wednesday, an sh has two more after that....
Jeff has just spent the afternoon shouting at the t.v..... football......
I have been playong on here most of the day sat is my do nothing day D and J do the cooking.... have a great weekend folks

Hi Jean, I cant get over that it only took half an hour to make one scarf. It would probably take me longer than that, although I'm not a slow knitter I'm not very quick either. My mother was a very quick knitter, but she didn't like sewing the finished garments up, so as I got older and liked sewing, she always gave me that job to do for her.

Alun is back from the match, he seemed to enjoy it. He was saying that when they got on to the A52, there had been an accident on the opposite side of the dual carriageway, it looked as though one bus had gone into the back of another one, and it also looked as though a couple of cars were involved. He's not sure what or how it happened, but there were five ambulances there.

Did J enjoy the football he was watching? Hope he hasn't lost his voice shouting at the football on the t.v. and also hope his team won! Alun and Richard are Man. U. supporters, so Alun is a bit disappointed because they lost to Everton today. Men!

Please give Debbie my best wishes for Wednesday. I'm sure she'll do well!

Right, I think I'll go and do a bit of scrapping while I feel like it.

Take care everyone!

Love and best wishes. Sallie.xxx

Hi there.
Sallie thank for asking after the family. I am fed up off chasing them all,and getting no answers. Even my daughter does not know what is happening with my grandaughter.
It is good news about Jennies medication, even though it may be painful for her,if it does the job,and eases the pain she is in,then it has to be worth it for her. Crohn's is such a painful thing to have to suffer.
Aha so you have a fear off doctors then Sallie.
When I was at work, they told us that people's blood pressure rose, when they had to go to the surgery, for a check up. It's called white coat syndrome. Apparantly, they did tests on people,by allowing the nurse to take BP,and
found that patients were more relaxed, there fore a lower BP was recorded.
So you are not to worry, you are not alone with this dread.
It sounds like you are going to be very busy, when you get your inclination
back for your scrapbooking. Buying all your scrapping material like that, must save you quite a bit off money.
Did Alun manage to get home safetly after the match. I take it that he never got mobbed after shouting for the wrong team. lol
Jean,it was just as well I did not have my thermals on. I only just made it to the kitchen sink in time. I have been told that there is a bug going around at the moment. Trust me to pick it up.
Please give D my best wishes for her assesment on Wednesday.
I hope J has not got a sore throat, after all that shouting. I could here him down here.
Are you nice and chilled after your nice relaxing day.
Sylvia,we have done it,we have a gold medal at long last. I believe it's the first one in donkeys years.
I am just about to send Marie a p.m,so I will let you know how she is,when I get a responce.
Love and best wishes to all our lovely friends on this thread. I hope you are all well.
BIG (((((((((HUGS)))))))))) luv Mo xxx
Edit, how did I miss your last post Sallie,I must get my eyes checked again.

Huia Report 20 Feb 2010 20:16

I had a reply from one person on Ancestry saying my message came across as threatening and she was thinking of reporting me! I looked at my message and found I had said woe betide the person who first put the error in his tree if I ever found him. I have sent her another message saying that that was said tongue in cheek. Some people dont seem to be able to take a joke. If I had wanted to be threatening I could have said a few different things. With over 200 people to contact it has been taking a long time, but as a lot of them have not looked at their trees for over 6 months I think I am trying to push the proverbial uphill. The last couple of days I have been trying to install AVG9 on my computer but it takes about 5 hours and my computer disconnects before it is finished. I am not a bald eagle but soon will be a different bald bird. I am going to phone my IT nephew in a couple of hours to ask him some questions.

Huia.

Sorry about the problem you're having with that one person on Ancestry.
Hope you'll get it sorted soon. As you say some people haven't got a sense of humour. Huia, Alun my hubby is going to PM you about AVG9.
Speak to you soon, take care. Love, Sallie.xx

Hope everyone here is living a good healthy life and continue to do so.

Received Jean thank you. Is that a special wool that you use to make them. I think they are very nice, how can you not like them. It's very like when we cook a meal for the family, and we don't enjoy it as much as they do. And yet when someone else does it for us,it tastes so much better.
I do hope you can understand what I am trying to explain.
You are a clever little missy.
Are they going to be christmas presents for the family.
