Here it is Bridget. what have you been doing with yourself?

We did the weekly shop this morning and also had a breakfast, had enough stamps on our coffee card for 2 four item breakfasts. We enjoyed it as we don't often do that.

Since then I have been around the boards and also made three cards.

As Ann has kindly invited me I am back! I have posted on here once before and not long ago.
Ann, thanks for encouraging me to continue with my thread and I will add something at least once a week. Perhaps I should change the name of my thread.....any suggestions will be considered.

The sun is shining and the forecast is more sunshine for the rest of the week.

Our house had quite a good number of people come to view when our house went on the market but none since December! I am going to ask the company we choose to come again as we have changed quite a lot in the main rooms and the kitchen. However there are hundreds of houses and Appartments available so I am not sure when we will find some one to buy our home.

Bye for now

Bridget

Lucky you with the sunshine Bridget, very grey and cold here today. Are you sure you want to come back?

Sorry you aren't getting anyone to look at your house though, it must be frustrating. However the situation here is the same. daughter is trying to sell her apartment in the Lake District but is not having much luck.

I'll have a think about another name for your thread.

Good afternoon to you all.

It is quite time since i was on here, sorry!
Nothing amzing been happening but everyday tasks do take a long time when the wind is so strong, just as i finish the cleaning along comes some more high winds!!

However each day the sun is shing and it is getting stronger so soon it will be hotevry day.

Ann, has your daughter had any success re selling her house.?

Our friends who returned to England came fora few days to finally decide which tems they wish to have in England and to see the person who has been trying to sell their house. Well the outcome s that they have changed to aother company and are now willing to sell the house for less than what they bought it for! Unfortunately there are hundreds of idenitcal house on the Urbanisation in the same situation.
I have decided to put our house into more than one agent but not yet ready to substantionally reduce the price.

This wekk is busy with darts night, 2 quiz nights, 1 football night and a friend hoping to visit one afternoon!!

We went shoping for the essentials today and then came home and had a really good Salad lunch full of chicken and all the salad items you could imagine...too full for Icecream afterwards!!!

Well that is about all for now so will look in a day or so to see what is happening,

Bye for now

Bridget :-D

Hi Bridget, No daughter hasn't sold their Lake District apartment yet. Not too bad as they can live there for a while until it sells and they aren't selling the Hampshire house until 12 months time, giving Grandson number three somewhere to live in the meantime as he has almost finished uni. At the moment Daughter and husband and Grandson number two and fiancee are having a long weekend in the apartment. They did have somebody to look at it who arrived just as they were unpacking for the weekend on Saturday.

Grandson's fiancees parents finished the marathon more or less together in 5 hours 20 minutes, very proud of them and the money they raised for Clic sargeant. (cancer and lieukaemia in childen).

Very windy here again today, not that cold but not as warm as it was at the weekend. Managed to get a load of washing dried outside anyway. Took a risk and left it out while I went to town, luckily it didn't rain.

Anyway, nice to see you on here Bridget. :-)

Good afternoon from a cold and wet Peniscola in Spain. Each time the sun tries to come out the rain starts instead and the birds fly away, my dogs come into the house and my Husband is watching the snooker programe!

We had a couple come to see our house yesterday ......it was raining and very cold.....the agents were very good but the lady decided that she could not cope with the cold weather so did not even come into the house!! I was amazed!

The darts night, yesterday only had four tables last night but we still held it....it was good fun and there had to be an extra question as two tables had the same results of the Quiz.

Well, that is all my news for now, so bye bye until tomorrow

Bridget

Hello Bridget, I am sorry to hear about your child who is ill, I hope they get better soon, we do worry so about our children don't we? Sorry I have not been on here Bridget, we are in Tenerife and sometimes have a problem with the Internet.

Hello Nolls, I did see you on another thread and thought you had not been on for a while, welcome back. I think one of the rhyming threads is still around somewhere. A lot of the older posters are still with us but there are some very nice newer ones. The board names have GC
Hanged though.

Hi Bridget,
Glad all is well with you .
It's dry,but grey here, can't see the windmills out at sea today, but it may get sunny later.
I'm off to see my new doctor today...should have gone last week, but was full of a cold and thought t wasn't fair to sneeze in surgery so changed appointment.
It is a lady, and the lady who does gardening for me is the partner of her sister who is also a doctor,so I know a bit about her.
Have been rather busy lately with Christmas coming and a big family to get prezzies for .
I think it was Doris Day who sang Que sera sera.....going back a bit!

Must get myself ready now.so will keep in touch!

The sun is with us, the trees are swaying, the sky is blue and all is well, so keeping my fingers crossed.

A couple of weeks ago I decided that as I was still not as well as I would like to be so I decided to only eat what a wanted to eat and when.
So now I eat food that I like and can enjoy all day. For example this morning I had two slices of good bread, with butter and Lemon and Lime Marmalade, it was good and that was at 8am and I still do not feel hungry at one o'clock in the
afternoon.

Peter, my husband has cleaned the the garden and it looks very good, takes quite a time as there are 3 levels,
Well that is all at the moment , have a good day everyone

This morning it was dull damp and very cold. This afternoon the sun is shining but it is still cold.
Yesterday we put the tree up and I decorated it so now we have the arrangement of cottages and little people on snow, the tree and a floral arrangement. Just one more floral arrangement to do then that is it. I do like to see it all decorated though even though there are only two of us.
Today we have been shopping in Cheltenham and out to lunch. :-D :-D
good to see you posting on here again everyone. :-)

Hi Bridget, and everyone

It's a long time since I posted on here :-)

We've had a week of lovely winter weather ................... cold, clear, sun, blue skies, but temperatures down to -4 or -5C overnight, and only up to 2 or 3C during the day. We even had snow on Thursday night last week .............. less than 2 cm here, but much more inland.

"They" said there was a change coming ................ sure enough, the rain arrived last night, and today it is grey and wet, and warmer

can't win!!!

We aren't doing any decorating as we will be away for the whole season.
