Hi Starr and Queen Trifley of the Nile. Thanks for talking to me, the others are just trying to ignore me, but I say we girls should all stick together. We all earn our bread the best way we can. At least ours is the oldest profession. And we do have more fun. Don't you think the Bucks nights are best and real good money. Can have the rest of the week of if I don't want any more bling. Bye for now Candy of the night.

I've been thinking of changing my name on the boards to my professional name. How about....Fantasia Velvethooter? It's singular because I really only have one of a decent size. The other one is more like a poached egg. Lyn....you said you like scrabble. Graeme & I are going to Norfolk Island in September and we are told there is a scrabble convention on there, then. Will you be going? Trifley X

Hi Fantasia, I here there is good money at the freak shows. Maybe I should have one of mine removed. Or maybe I could get one enlarged. LOL I have to go now girls. Taking the girls to their ballet lessons. Keep smilin Candy

Oh my goodness! Lara - or Star Dixonshot or whatever you're calling yourself today - you better get back here and sort out this rabble. What with Madam Candy in leather and the Queen of the Nile (calling herself Fantasia Velvethooter do you mind) draping herself in moth eaten velvet, the Wattle Club is turning into a bordello! They'll be wrestling in jelly before we know where we are! Hello to Lyn - we've spoken before I believe - and hello again to Jill Jill. Welcome to the Wafflers thread. Confidentially, we usually don't have those ladies of ill repute hanging around - I think they must have dropped into the wrong night club! Lara will sort them out I'm sure. Although she seems to be acting a bit strangely herself today with delusions about being a Star! Hi Laurie - glad to hear you are having a ball in NZ - didn't hear much about the shoe shopping though. What are the shop assistants like in the shoe shops there? Catering to your every whim I trust. HELLO LEMON - IS IT BECAUSE YOU ARE SO FAR AWAY THAT YOU ARE SHOUTING? I HAD TO TURN DOWN MY EAR TRUMPET ! Shall pop back in later and check to see if the riff raff in leather and velvet have returned to their sordid dives. Bye Lady Anna

Hi Laurie, You sound to be having a great time in NZ. Is the shopping good and is the exchange rate good? Did you take piccies of the Island that reminded you of Tomborine with water? Would love to see it. Are the working girls still hanging around. Must let you all in on a little secret, one of my ambitions was to be a Madame, just to look after the girls mind you, wouldn't want to do any thing else. And all above board, legal like. LOL Does any one else have a naughty streak? Tell it if you dare. Are we all ready for the big win tonight. I had a little taster on Powerball, won the grand total of $11.90. I hope it's a good omen. I must go now, animals to feed Luv SuzyQ ( the quiet alter ego.)

Afternoon Wattlers, Been some strange goings on by the look of the past couple of pages, Thought i was on the wrong thread for a moment he he OH has gone to the farm again today, so i have had another day off from tractor driving, actually, this year i have done very little. And you won't hear me complaining about that lol. It is my grandsons 1st birthday tomorrow, so have been making potato salad for a family BBQ. Yesterday, while digging in the freezer, i found some apricots that i had frozen for jam, so guess what else i made today? Hope it is alright, the apricots have been in the freezer for a couple of years. Amazing what can work it's way to the back of the freezer lol. OH and i are out to friends place for tea tonight, should be nice. Looking forward to it, we don't go out very often, think we are getting too lazy. I can't afford new diamonds at the moment, and leather isn't my prefered attire, so can someone tell me how to get some bling! for my name ?....Wilson just isn't doing it amongst all you fancy birds lol. Ok better go,Take care...... Blingless Wilson

Dear Jill Jill Bling is anything that sparkles and shines that you can drape around your neck or your wrist or your fingers or your toes or your navel.... get the idea? Bling is great if it is diamonds but those of us who can't quite afford the real thing are happy to substitue anything else the glitters and shines. As well as draping bling around ourselves, we also festoon our names on the board with bling. Lew Lew is quite vulgar at times - she actually festoons her name with $ signs! (Between you and I - noveau riche I think.) May your days and nights be full of bling XX Anna

Lyn When I lived in Sydney I worked in Darlinghurst at St. Vincent's Hosptal Psychiatric Ward, the Caritas Centre. Ex hubby was the manager of Hertz Australia and worked in Kings Cross so we used drive around the back streets of Darlo and Kings Cross quite often. I used to kill myself laughing in Winter. The 'girls' used to sit in the doorways of their terrace houses with practically nothing on - and an electric bar heater going flat out beside them!. Oh - those were the days! Anna

ANNA, don't cast aspersion on my good name. I'll have you know, I come from old money, lol! Hubby's home from Sydney and stopped at the Pot Shop at Wentworth Falls and brought 4 gorgeous pots, 2 dark pewter and 2 purple. Very nice! Have had a pretty quiet day, just doing the usual cleaning and now about to settle down with a glass of wine, cheese, biscuits and a magazine. It appears that our unsavoury friends have left the thread. Perhaps they're in the Corner! Seeya Lew Lew xxx

Hi Lyn.....I went to Norfolk Isl. (or Norf**k as the locals called it) about 30 years ago and had a ball. There are more resorts/hotels there now and lots of entertainment centered around a 'Mutiny on the bounty' theme. There is a 'son et lumiere' and several fancy-dress dinners and even a 'murder' dinner. However I'm going mostly for the rest & relaxation. And, of course, the cemetery and BDM records. Graeme (hubby) is going because that's where I'm going to be haaa haaa. Trifley x

Wow Jill I'm blinded by the light! Very impressive bling I must say! I was thinking to myself the other day - if we all got together, how many of the Wattlers would still be speaking with an English accent? Now come on, 'fess up! My father (Welsh) had been here for 60 years and he still had an accent, especially some words. Aunt was always 'Ant' and mauve was always 'morve' - there were stacks more words with his own peculiar Welsh interpretation. Come on Wattlers - how many of you talk funny???? :>)) Anna
