Not really Julie, apart from re-establishing contac with a cousin who I haven't seen for over 30 years. She is in the UK. She sent me quite a few photos of our grandfather, who is my brick wall. :-(

I'll give very brief details if we speak later, Julie. I do have a thread on Find Ancestors, but same as yourself, on my grandmother's side I'm back to 1793. I just have to work out the various relationships. Her family were not very inventive when it came to first names :-D

I am back tot he early 1700's with most of my lines as they all tended to stay in the same county or the next one - makes it a lot easier & I still live in that county as well. My hubby's tree is back to the Normans as we had a few Sir's - always makes things a lot easier. Otherwise on the female lines he is back to the early 1700's as well.

Hello all

Clootie Dumpling

Hi Tabitha. Absolutely no record can be found of my grandfather, at least under the name he was using when he married my gran in 1904. on the 1911 he is shown as being born in London. Of course he may have been adopted or 'acquired' At the time of the marriage, he was 44 and my gran 22. :-0
