Hello all. A typical meal of roast beef, roast potatoes and pumpkin, peas and corn, cauliflower gratin and gravy. I think that the beef was sirloin. Everyone else hade two or three slices cut across the grain. Mine was one long slice cut with the grain. It was overcooked and contained bands of gristle. Totally inedible! I paid $35.00 for the meal but as it was prepared by the Masons' wives I couldn't complain nor ask for a replacement as they only prepared sufficient for the numbers attending |

F..Flipping eck, sounds a bit pricey for a Beef roast , I'd have been totally miffed if my meat was served like that ! They should have made sure they had sufficient good quality meat for all ! Shame on them :( |
