We made that once , it wasn't the best to make or the best to taste !
but one that was rather good was ---

Elderflower Champagne

Easy to collect the stems, but took ages to cut off all those tiny little flower heads !!

Lol~~
When we were first married we used to make lots of wines, our neighbours ' got the bug' and started too.
We had one particular Damson wine, that both of us made and liked.
After an evening at our local, our neighbour came back to ours ( his wife was on a 24hr shift at local hosp) after a bottle ( or maybe two ) of our Damson wine our neighbour ,who'd sat on the floor next to the chair to cwtch the radiator (t'was the middle of winter ) fell asleep and spent the night on the floor , hubby threw him a pillow and duvet and we went to bed ! He wouldn't have been wanted to have been woken up !!

Allan you had me in fits of giggles on your "Early morning thread" and the extra bits - did you manage to find a "new home"

Sounds bad in Oz with Ferries cancelled - south East coast of Uk seems to have missed the floods - we had the high wind & loads of rain
