I'm still here ! lol.Having very warm nights at the moment.Poor OH gets a kick if his leg or any part of him touches me .Duvet gets flung off many times during the night and my legs spend most of the time hanging out the side of the bed.Pillow gets turned over as it gets too hot.Nightie ends up on the floor.
I wake up exhausted and just want to go back to sleep lol.....Happy Days/Nights lol

aah,so there you all are lol
still having hot flushes every half hour and night sweats still leaving me wringing. How I envy those ladies who say they hardly ever had any symptoms .I think we must have had an overload of hormones to start with lol.
Got my memory foam pillow. It seems quite hard.Still must try something to ease my neck/shoulder pain.It is definitely hotter than my feather pillow too.I am forever turning the pillow to get the cool side too.
You would think we would be dehydrated.I keep a bottle of water by my bedside and its becoming routine with each night sweat to throw the quilt off,sit up,have a few sips of water, turn the pillow, straighten the sheet and my nightie and decide whether or not to visit the loo before settling down to try and get back to sleep.
Sometimes sleep eludes me and I say prayers for everyone, then I play alphabet games etc until I drift off.Funnily enough I can get off to sleep better with the tv on but that isn't fair on my other half when he goes out to work at 6-30am.

Sometimes when my son is away at Uni and I can't sleep I will go to his bed and maybe watch some TV.Although it often is rubbish, but I do tend to drop off again.I also have one of those stick on LED lights on my side on the headboard so i can turn it on and not disturb OH and read.

Hi ladies,I bought Paul McKenna's I can make you sleep cd,It's basically self hypnosis and it's been great for getting me off to sleep.Sadly I don't stay that way for long, waking every hour or hour and a half ,sleeping on a bath towel so I don't have to change the sheet in the middle of the night flipping the duvet over so the damp side is up,and then I don't want to get out of bed in the morning.Hoping the HRT will kick in soon though I'm not holding my breath. On the plus side my joint pain isn't as bad and I've put that down to the Honeygar that I've been taking for a few weeks now.Hope theres an improvement in the weather where you are and Happy St Davids Day to all our welsh friends

Beautiful blue skies and sunshine today.March has come in like a lamb.
I got a phone call from my daughter who was at work asking me to go to her house and check if she had left her keys in the front door. She lives about 10 mins walk away.Luckily the keys were in the door. The door was even wide open.I was a little apprehensive looking in but things seemed ok fortunately.
She blamed her forgetfulness on my 5 yr old grand daughter messing about when they were hurrying to get out this morning lol

Well my dear friend Fitz called earlier and I opened up the summerhouse. We sat in there with the doors wide open and the sun blazing in through the windows and had some lunch and a glass of wine.It was lovely. It felt just like a summers day out there.Touch wood no flushes today lol
I have never told OH ,but I have left the keys in the lock on the outside of the front door a couple of times.Luckily no-one would actually notice from the road as we have a long drive.

I remember years back when I was living at home our neighbours over the road went on holiday. We couldn't find one of our cats. Then a couple of days later we spotted him sitting on the bedroom windowsill in their house lol.Somehow he had sneaked in .Dad tried our back door key in their door and it FITTED (how bad was that). He rang the police to say what he was going to do .I don't think the neighbours knew Rudi had been locked in.We just kept shtum ! I just wondered about where he might have gone to the loo.

A HUGE NUDGE! still getting the odd hot flush, but nowhere near as bad as it was.

Found the honey and cinnamon list very interesting, I have honey on my porridge.

Jane Report 5 Mar 2010 17:57

Hi PP.
I think it is all the sweat that makes my hair go greasy, and sometimes my scalp itches like mad.It was like that this afternoon so I had to nip up and wash it.It is fine now.
No Pam I don't have nits lol
