Nurses and Doctors have very warped sense of humour. It keeps us sane lol

Helen, I agree about the warped sense of humour! I remember being on nights and having to take a corpse down to our tiny 2 person morgue. She was a lady of over 20 stone, and when we tried to put her in the fridge she was just too big to go in no matter how we tried. Sister and I couldnt stop giggling! I can just imagine the faces of anyone passing by. We had no porters at night so nurses were general dogsbodys.

Afternoon all
yes I like the new name, weather rain, cold & rotten. I could have done with a hottie this morning on my way to work it was so cold and damp, but there never around when you could do with one, and allways there when you don't want one(if you get what I mean)

Fiona Report 1 May 2009 13:49

Come off it Helen
I mean a Hot Flush !!!! this morning, the only hot flush I got was when I was doing my exercises with the kids, I let the younger members of staff do the jumping, and bending, I can't touch my toes these days without groaning.
but I'm happy to sit on a chair and give out the orders.
No I'm really only there to make and serve out the morning snack, tell a story while the other girls put the toys away, and perhaps say nursery rhymes and sing a few songs, Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, remember!!!

Afternoon ladfies, glad you like the new name...well you asked for it!! think it sounds good though.

Helen we have got sun here too, sorry to hear it's not so good in scotland fiona, I well remember my short time spent living in Glasgow.

Fiona, I can't touch my toes atall! Think if I did I'd do more than groan!!! Actually, yes I can, but it's not advisable...well not in public!

Hi pam
where do you get your little suns that are beside your name , are they on the computer or your keyboard, somewhere

☼ Pam ☼

☼ Pam ☼ Report 1 May 2009 14:42

Hi fiona, yes what you do is press the ALT key next to the space bar at the same time as pressing 1 and 5 on the numbers key pad next to your main keyboard...give it a go!

Back later, good luck. ☼

Pam. ☺
